In the New Testament the book, Jude reminds us, "That there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts." (V. 18) In fact, the Bible teaches that people will deny the cross, Jesus Christ, and the word of God. However, in the midst of confusion, Gods church shall stand. (Matthew 26:18) These people will not have the Spirit of God.
