For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end

Jeremiah 29:11 says: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

God has a plan and a purpose for your life. There’s no evil in that plan. I’m so glad to know that when I am in a battle, when I am facing struggles and need, and when it seems as if I am in my darkest hour the last thing I have to consider is where God stands. He stands at my side. He stands on my behalf. He’s got my back. He’s got my front. Though a thousand would fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand, it will not come near me. The angels of the Lord are encamped round about me.

God is with you, too!

You never have to wonder who brought you trouble. You can rest assured that God will bring you out. You don’t have to reason or wonder if it is too hard for God. You can know that nothing is impossible to Him. When you are in a battle, never give thought to who brought the problem. Always think upon God, because He is your answer.
God is not the problem!

 

 

 

 

 

 

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

  1. Thank you Bummyla, a wonderful message of reassurance in our God of Love who is always faithful. I would like to share some more Scripture with you Bummyla that came to my mind and heart as I read your message, I may have shared them before, they are the Scriptures God gave me including the one you shared when I faced affliction, suffering and hardship, He also gave me strength and reassured me that the Battle was His and He has never let me down. Have I shouted, have I cried, have I doubted, yes, yes, yes, but He remained my Rock, my Bridge to safety in the Storm and so He is for all His redeemed Children, He has no favourites.

    Psalm 46:1-3 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

    Psalm 121:1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made Heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: He that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

    Lamentations 3: 33 For He doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.

  3. Praise the Lord!! You know what I love about God? Is He is always sending confirmation. I shared this scripture with another woman of God on yesterday. Just telling her to be encouraged and keep fighting and know that God thoughts towards us are good and not of evil! I sent your post to her so she can read this as well and let it be a confirmation of her Fathers love for her as well!! As well as I just received your message this morning where you said that He is one spirit and that He is that He would place this on your heart as well to post about! We serve a great and awesome God!!
