There is nothing like a father’s love! Abba Father.

 

“For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put

you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the

Spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry, Abba (Father)! Father!”

Romans 8:15 (AMP).

There’s nothing like a father’s love. Yet, so many people long to know such love.

Some fathers have abandoned their children; others were there for a season but due

to poor communications and a bad relationship with the mothers decided to leave

altogether. There are also some fathers who want to have a relationship with their

children, but are pushed away.

All of these circumstances can ultimately leave the child with feelings of rejection

and emptiness in their life. But, there is a father who wants you. God is the only

Father that can love away all of your pain, hurt and void. His Word will resonate

in your heart letting you know that He is your Daddy. You can call Him Daddy, because

He has and always will be your provider, protector and re-reward.

As a Spirit-filled believer you received justification and freedom from condemnation.

Your sins, past hurts and shame have been washed in the blood of the Lamb; now you

are joint-heirs with Christ. As an heir, you have been adopted into the family of

God. His Spirit dwells inside of you and His presence reassures your inner man that

you belong to Him.

Regardless of your relationship with your natural father good, bad or indifferent;

make a decision today that you will forgive him because you have a heavenly Father

that will never leave or forsake you. You have a loving Father who supports you

every day as you aspire to live out His perfect will for your life.

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father God, I am blessed to have You in my life. Thank you for removing all

of the hurt, pain and void from my past. Thank you for giving me the grace and

courage to forgive my father. I pray that he will also get to know you as Abba (Daddy)

Father. In Jesus Christ name, Amen.
