The Grace to Serve Others.
Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering….
Romans 12:7a
The word ministry means service. There is a grace for people to serve. There’s a calling to serve others. The calling to serve is no less than the calling to prophesy or the calling to pastor; it is no less than the calling to be an apostle. The body of Christ needs servants: people who know they have a calling and the grace for that.
For example, a calling to be a nurse is a servant calling, and you have to have a grace to be a nurse. When I go to the hospital and see some of the things nurses need to do, I know that God gives them a grace to interact with sick people, to witness to sick people, and to lay hands on them so that they can be healed.
