Continue To Serve God. The Fact That You Are Serving God Does Not Mean That Challenges Will Not Come

And they were both righteous before God walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless. And they had no child, because that Elizabeth was barren and they both were now well stricken in years”. Luke 1:6-7 KJV.

Zacharias and his wife, Elizabeth were blameless before God. If the bible calls you blameless, you are blameless. They loved God, with all their hearts. They served God and were totally committed to Him, yet, they had no child. Zacharias never at any time allowed his situation to determine how he will serve God. He had desires that have not been met but he kept on serving, going to the temple and carrying out his assignment. The modern day Christian would say. “God disappointed me”. Not Zacharias, he kept serving faithfully.

The bible is full of examples of people who went through a lot of things that you cannot really explain. These examples are there for us to draw from. When things like these happen, and you cannot explain them, don’t run your mouth. Just keep on trusting God and know that your “REDEEMER LIVES”. The fact that you are serving God does not mean that challenges will not come. In fact, that is the more reason why challenges will come against you. That is why it is vitally important that you are loaded. You should feed yourself with the word of God because when the storm and challenges of life come, it is what you have inside that will determine whether you are going to float or sink.

Zacharias and Elizabeth refused to allow things determine their position in God. And you know God is awesome, the problem that has lasted for so many years eventually came to an end. God visited Zacharias while he was serving in His presence. And they became joyful parents in their old age. There is no way you can be in God’s presence without experiencing the supernatural. The God that visited Zacharias and Elizabeth will visit you. I challenge you today to serve faithfully no matter what the circumstance might be with you. You are next in line for His visitation.
