Overcoming Satan

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world
1 John 4:4

Satan is in the world. Whom do you need to overcome? Satan. You overcome the devil “by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of [your] testimony” (Revelation 12:11). Overcoming satan means overcoming all of his attempts to get you to operate in sin and to ultimately walk away from God.

You can overcome the devil. You can overcome any temptation or challenge he sends against you. When Jesus walked this earth, He lived an overcoming life. He lived a victorious life. He stepped on the devil everywhere He went.

You can step on the enemy, too. You can tread on serpents and scorpions everywhere you go, and nothing shall hurt you!
