Romans_6-23: For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord

Text: Proverbs 14:34

Proverbs_14-34: Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people

INTRODUCTION

John_5-24: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life

According to the word of God in Proverbs 14:34, sin is a reproach to anyone who is still toying with it. Just as the contemporary global disease called AIDS i.e. Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome, sin is a deadly disease to any man or woman living with it.

Psalms_119-11: Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Some Dangers Of A Sinful Life

Romans_3-23: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God

1. Eternal damnation.-John 3:16.
2. Loss of fellowship with God and His glory. –Romans 3:23.
3. Loss of earthly blessings.-Romans 6:1.
4. Eternal death. –Romans 6:23.
5. Becoming God’s enemy (King Saul).
6. Destiny diversion (Prodigal son).
7. Suffering that can lead to death (Physical & Spiritual).

Romans_5-8: But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

CONCLUSION:
We must avoid sinful lifestyle for our own personal good and for peace of mind in the nearest future. Sin erodes a man of divine covering. it is very dangerous (e.g. Adam and Eve).

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
