I have a precious Saviour.

He came from Heaven above
And died for me on Calvary,
To prove His matchless love

Sin means total rebellion against God. It is walking contrary to the commandments of God. God is holy and He commands everyone to live in total obedience to His Words. The consequences of sin are terrible no sinner shall go unpunished. God is calling everyone to repent and forsake his/her ways.

1-John_1-9: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness

Consequences Of Sin

Psalms_51-2: Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

1) It Attracts Death Penalty –

“But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.”

4) It Leads To Hell:

Revelation 21:8
“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

Proverbs_10-22: The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it

There shall be showers of blessing.

This is the promise of love;
There shall be seasons refreshing,
Sent from the Savior above.

Showers of blessing,
Showers of blessing we need;
Mercy drops round us are
falling,
But for the showers we plead.
