Hell Is Real

Revelation_3-20: Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Luke 16:19-31:
19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house:
28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Revelation_1-18: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Introduction

Revelation_21-7: He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

The story in the text is about the rich man and a beggar called Lazarus. The unfortunate thing about the rich man was that, he did not allow GOD to make use of what he had in helping the needy. An end came to both the beggar and the rich man, but the rich man ended his life in hell. I pray that we will not go to hell in Jesus Christ Name! Amen!

What Is Hell?

Hell is a place of torment where people who do not know GOD will be after death. It is a place prepared for Satan and his agents. It is also a place referred to as place of darkness in
Matthew 25:30:
“And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

What Can I Do To Avoid Going To Hell?

1). Repent from all your wrong doings:
Acts 20:21:
“Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.”

2). Receive JESUS CHRIST as your LORD and Saviour:

Act 20:21:
“Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.”

3). Live daily in total obedience to GOD.
Philippians 2:12:
“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling”

Romans 12:2:
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

4). Flee from every appearances of evil.
1 Thessalonians 5:22:
“Abstain from all appearance of evil.”
2 Timothy 2:22:
“Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.”
James 4:7:
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
1 Corinthians 6:18:
“Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.”

Revelation_4-11: Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created

Conclusion

Revelation_21-4: And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away

Psalm 127:1-2:
Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.

John_3-17: For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved

Every child of GOD must work out his or her salvation with fear and trembling in order to escape hell. Hell is real!

Ephesians_2-8: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

May God Bless Israel, Nigeria, And America And Take Care Of Us; May God Make His Face Shine Upon Us, And Be Gracious To Us; May The Lord Lift Up His Countenance Upon Us, And Give Us Peace, In Jesus Christ Name, We Pray! Amen!
