Christ has set me free to live a free life, so I take my stand
“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.”
Galatians 5:1 (KJV)
Christ has set us free to live a free life, so take your stand! Never again let anyone put the harness of slavery on you. In standing fast in liberty, ensure that you don’t give the devil a foothold in your life. There are several ways through which you can give the devil a foothold, but I want to zero in on two major routes.
The first is through sin (the little foxes that spoil the vine). Don’t throw your miracle away because of the pleasure of sin, which lasts for a brief moment. The devil is very subtle. He magnifies the pleasure of sin and lures you into it without showing you its reward.
Beloved, sin is sin; there is no such thing as a small or big sin. Anything contrary to the principles of God is sin, and the only good you can do for yourself is to run from it. Paul said it so well in 1 Thessalonians 5:22, “Abstain from all appearances of evil” (KJV). Child of God, don’t meddle with sin in any way. Run from it. It is Satan’s strategy to keep you from enjoying the open heaven.
The devil’s second strategy works through negative confession. This occurs when you give in to pressure and exchange the symptoms of a problem for the real thing. Yes, you have prayed, and God has assured you of your healing. But the symptom you have been experiencing is still there. It is the devil’s age-old trick to bring the symptoms of the challenge to the fore and make you feel like nothing has happened. He tries to make you feel as though your prayers have not been answered and that God is not real. He actually intensifies the symptoms to make you confess negatively and of course whatever you confess you will receive. So when he backs you into the wall and applies pressure, rather than confess negatively, choose to praise the Lord. Beloved, keep thanking God until you see the results you want, I guarantee you that they will not tarry. You will testify.

For it is written:
“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise;
the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.”[a]
20 Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21 For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.
