Welcome To A Life Of Shalom. A Life Of Total Peace Where Nothing Is Broken Or Missing

Ephesians_2-8: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

“Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.”
Hebrews 13:9 (KJV)

In a world that is filled with anxiety, turmoil, and worry, God wants your heart to be established by grace. To establish is to found, build, or bring into being on a firm or stable basis; it is to install or settle something in a position, to bring something about permanently.

Look around you. You will notice that people are constantly trying to outdo each other. You will also find that the more you do, the more you discover that you have not done enough and that you are very much behind. The world is in a rat race; people are running around trying to achieve what no one else has. Many are sweating profusely under the weight of their efforts, yet they are not getting any worthwhile results. They end up frustrated and discouraged; they throw in the towel and claim that nothing is working in their favour. But the problem is with them. They have refused to take advantage of what Jesus has done for them.

The truth is that whenever you think that you have done much to please God and that your actions will make heaven move on your behalf, you will instead end up full of worries and anxieties. Your mind will continually think about those areas that you have missed. The devil will magnify your errors before you and will show you why you do not qualify for the grace of God. This is because you can never obey God perfectly. However, when you depend on God’s grace, which is His undeserved, unearned, unmerited favour, your heart will be established. Faith in the finished work of Christ on your behalf is what qualifies you. You must be established in the fact that, your healing, protection, prosperity, and success in life have all been paid for by the finished work of Christ on the cross. God’s blessings are guaranteed in your life because they are not predicated on your ability to keep His laws; instead they depend on Jesus’s perfect obedience. Welcome to a life of shalom-a life of total peace where nothing is broken or missing.
