I Stand Amazed In The Presence
Of Jesus The Nazarene
And Wonder How He Could Love Me
A Sinner, Condemned, Unclean.

How Marvelous!
How Wonderful!
And My Song Shall Ever Be:

Is My Saviour’s Love For Me!

For Me It Was In The Garden
He Prayed “Not My Will But Thine:”

But Sweat Drops Of Blood For Mine.

Victory Through Christ Jesus.

1-John_5-4-3: For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith

Text:
1 Corinthians 15:57
But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Introduction:
Victory is the successful outcome of any event or battle. Victory is what Christ has used His death, burial and resurrection to purchase for us. That’s why He said “it is finished” when He was about to give up the ghost on the cross.

What Does It Mean To Be Victorious?

1. To Be Victorious Means To Overcome Temptation That Comes To Us As Challenges

1 John 2: 15-16
15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

2. To be victorious means to overcome adversity and problems of life

Mark 7:24-25
24 And from thence he arose, and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered into an house, and would have no man know it: but he could not be hid.
25 For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet:

Why Should We Be Victorious?

1. Because victory is our heritage in Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:57
But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

2. Because God has delivered us from the power of darkness and Satan.

Colossians 1:13
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

3. Because Christ has overcome for us.

When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in spirit and troubled.

4. To receive the crown of glory

And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.

5. To have eternal Life.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Conclusion:

According to the text it is only in Christ that you can experience and enjoy complete and total victory.
