By Thronging Duties Pressed?
To Do The Will Of Jesus, This Is Rest.
Peace. Perfect Peace,
With Sorrows Surging Round?
On Jesus’ Bosom Nought
But Clam Is Found.
Peace, Perfect Peace,
With Loved Ones Far Away?
In Jesus’ Keeping We Are Safe And They.
Peace, Perfect Peace,
Our Future All Unknown?
Jesus We Know,
And He Is On The Throne.
Peace, Perfect Peace,
Death Shadowing Us And Ours?
Jesus Has Vanquished Death
And All Its Powers.
It Is Enough, Earth’s Struggles
Soon Shall Cease,
And Jesus Call Us To Heaven’s
Perfect Peace.

You, Lord, showed favor to your land;
you restored the fortunes of Jacob.
2 You forgave the iniquity of your people
and covered all their sins.[b]
3 You set aside all your wrath
and turned from your fierce anger.
4 Restore us again, God our Savior,
and put away your displeasure toward us.
5 Will you be angry with us forever?
Will you prolong your anger through all generations?
