Moving Into Double Blessing.

Proverbs_10-22: The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it

Isaiah_44-3: For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring

Ephesians_1-3. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

“And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.” Job 42:10

 
Job was in a seriously bad situation and was going through the most terrible and painful experience in his life. It was such that he lost the joy of living.

 
Can you imagine what happened to Job? If he lost just his business, the children would have consoled him. If he lost just a child, he would have taken solace in the others. But one after the other, his entire business empire collapsed, all his children (without an exception) died and his wife left him. One would have expected that at a time like that in his life, his friends should give him the necessary support, but rather than do that they judged him and told him to his face that he was suffering because of his sins.

(Job 34: 7 – 8) “What man is like Job, who drinketh up scorning like water? 8 Which goeth in company with the workers of iniquity, and walketh with wicked men”.

 
Job felt betrayed by his close companions, and so became bitter towards them. Notice God’s approach to resolving the issue – He instructed those friends of Job to go to Job for prayers. Also for Job himself to get restored he had to get rid of his bitterness and to do that, he had to act in love towards those who had hurt him. Love is not touchy or fretful or resentful, it takes no account of the evil done to it, it pays no attention to a suffered wrong. God demands that we forgive others in order to enjoy His mercy and grace in our lives as well.

 
Get rid of every bitterness in your hearts, Job was blessed only after he had prayed for his friends. To move on into God’s double blessings and restoration in your life, you must forgive and start praying for those who hurt you.

Danger Of Being Strong.

2-Timothy_2-1-1: Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus

Deuteronomy_31-6: Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

“And it came to pass, when Rehoboam had established the kingdom, and had strengthened himself, he forsook the law of the LORD, and all Israel with him.” 2 Chronicles 12:1 (KJV)

 
One common error of Christians is to relax when they think they have succeeded. You know that no fly can perch on a hot pot, but once the pot begins to lose the heat, every kind of fly can then begin to perch on it. No matter the level of success you have or will attain, I plead with you by the mercies of God, do not become strong in yourself. Understand and appreciate the fact that whatever you have become is all a product of God’s grace.

 
Many people fallen from grace to grass because the stopped depending on God. They started well but they finished poorly, but that will not be the case with you in Jesus name. You will finish strong. No matter the successes, no matter the accolades, may you stay under the canopy of God in Jesus’ name.

 
Look at the story above, Rehoboam had lost 10 tribes and was ruling only over one – Judah. Yet that was not enough for Him to realize that he needed God all the way. He concretized his position, ensured that his military strength was intact and forgot about God – he forgot about God who brought him into the position and forsook everything about God. Before you condemn him, take a look at yourself – are you still as fervent for God as you were before you got the promotion, got the job, passed the exam, had the baby, got married, or got whatever it was so desired, fasted and prayed about. If you can be honest and evaluate yourself today, then go a step further and retrace your commitment to God. Don’t let your zeal for God go down because of what you have.

 
No matter the height you have attained, never forget that it is God that gives you power to get the wealth, the job, the promotion, the house, the spouse, the child or whatever that thing is. Keep God’s priority in your life and every other thing will fall into place.

6. Blood of Jesus, wipe out all the data about me and my family from the data bank of the enemy, in the name of Jesus.

7. Every evil monitoring gadget, remote control devices and every witchcraft coven assigned against my life and destiny, be destroyed by the Holy Ghost fire, in the name of Jesus.

8. Every satanic cage, evil chains, and cords of darkness, assigned against my destiny, be destroyed by the thunder of God, in Jesus’ name.

9. Every spiritual screen and radars, spiritual mirror, spiritual tape, spiritual camera, spiritual satellites and all spiritual properties that satan has set to monitor me, break into pieces, in the name of Jesus.

10. All evil terrestrial and celestial spirits fashioned against me, scatter, in the name of Jesus.

11. Satanic weapons, fashioned against me, be destroyed, in the name of Jesus.

12. Every evil spirit, witches, wizards, semi-gods, familiar sprits, water spirits and spirits of weakness, working against my life and progress, be paralysed, in the name of Jesus.

13. Father Lord, let the mischief of my enemies return upon his own head, in the name of Jesus.

14. Anything that belongs to me or representing me on the witchcraft altar, be destroyed by the Holy Ghost fire, in the name of Jesus.

15. Holy Ghost fire, destroy every cage, chain, bag or prison room where satan has tied my heart, my soul, my mind and my inheritance, in the name of Jesus.

16. Holy Spirit, destroy all the power of the demons on guard against my heart, my soul, my mind and my destiny, in the name of Jesus.

17. Every curse and covenant made by my ancestors or by myself, in the air, on earth, under the earth, in the waters above or underneath, break, in Jesus’ name.

18. Every unknown curse, that is troubling my progress and my future, break, in the name of Jesus.

19. Hiding curses, targeted at me in the air, on the earth, under the earth, beneath the earth, in the waters, inside the rivers, inside the seas, inside the dams, be destroyed, in the name of Jesus.

20. Demons, assigned to the curses, assigned against me, die, in the name of Jesus.

21. Covenants, made on my behalf by my ancestors or anyone with any dark powers, I declare you null and void by the power in the blood of Jesus.

22. I withdraw my membership from any satanic initiation I have made or made for me by people, and I command such initiations to die, in the name of Jesus.

23. I cancel my name from the register of satan. I declare myself free from today, in the name of Jesus.

24. Locusts, cankerworms, caterpillars and the palmerworm, assigned against my life, die me in the name of Jesus.

25. My Father, give me the former and the latter rain, and fill me again with Your blessings, in the name of Jesus.

26. Every enchantment, spells, charms and incantations, assigned against my life, die, in the name of Jesus.

36. Hypnotic powers, manipulating my life, break away, in the name of Jesus.

37. O thou that troubleth the Israel of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, the God of Elijah shall trouble you today.

38. Every enemy, of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, scatter, in the name of Jesus.

12. Anointing for: total healing, breakthroughs, promotion, deliverance, victory, success, fulfilment, divine opportunities, enlargement, increase, multiplication, prosperity, refreshment, fall upon this mantle, in the name of Jesus.

13. Where is the Lord God of Elijah, arise and infuse this mantle with the power of the God of Elijah, in the name of Jesus.

14. Father, let the virtues of heaven fall upon this mantle, in the name of Jesus.

15. As I use this mantle, let the power of the living God overshadow it and let it renew my youth like the eagle, in the name of Jesus.

16. Holy Ghost, come upon this mantle, and let the power of the most high overshadow it, in the name of Jesus.

17. Father, let this mantle become a frustration killer, a stagnancy destroyer, opportunity revival, a weapon of confrontation, the destroyer of yokes and glory revival, in the name of Jesus.

18. O God arise, and uproot anything You did not plant inside the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries.

19. Fire of revival, fall upon the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, in the name of Jesus.

20. O Lord, let the power of peace and progress overshadow this nation, in the name of Jesus.

Depend On God.

Proverbs_3-5-: Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding

Isaiah_26-4: Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength

“And Asa cried unto the LORD his God, and said, LORD, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O LORD our God; for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. O LORD, thou art our God; let not man prevail against thee.” 2 Chronicles 14:11 (KJV)

 
One of the decisions you must make this year is to depend totally on God. We live in a time when everything else is failing. There is practically nothing that you can rely upon – money is failing, the stock market failed so badly that many not only lost huge sums of money, some people committed suicide; relationships are breaking down and the center for many is no longer holding. That is the more reason why you, as a child of God, must focus totally and depend absolutely on God knowing that without Him you can do nothing.
You may be a professional; you may be an expert in the field, but I like the doctor’s confession. While they claim to be experts, there is a caveat that has become so popular: “we care, God heals”. Beloved, no matter how good man is, the arm of flesh will fail. The only One who can be depended and relied on is God. The doctors have realized that in spite of all the studies they have made and all the discoveries they have concerning the human body, the best they can do is to care – the Healer is God. He is the only one that understands how we sleep and lose consciousness of our environment in the night and wake up in the morning. Man may create the form of a man, but only God can put the breath in man.

 
This is not to discourage you from attaining the best academic height that you can get to in your field; but it is encouraging you to still depend on God in spite of all that you have acquired. He is the only One that can kill and make alive. He is the One that can wound and heal, so depend on Him; lean totally on Him and He will ensure your victory. With God, head or tail, you win.

Your Inheritance.

Revelation_21-7: He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Psalms_37-11: But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace

“The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.” Psalm 16:5 (KJV)

 
Child of God, the fact that you have given your life to Christ puts you in a position of royalty. You are not ordinary. Salvation puts you on a higher pedestal where you can decree a thing and it shall be established. You become a co-creator with God. The Psalmist in the scripture above refers to God as his inheritance. The question is: what is an inheritance? The word inheritance means birthright. It is something you did not work for. It is yours by virtue of the family you belong to. Someone else paid the price for it. You were born into it.

 
Beloved, by virtue of your new creation, the Lord has become your inheritance. Anything that is not found in God cannot cling to you. You have a right to shake it off and walk away. It is your choice. So let me ask you: is sickness in God? Is poverty in God? Is failure in God? Is disappointment in God? Is laziness in God? Is slothfulness in God? Of course the answer to all the above is NO. If they are not in God, why are you giving any of them a place in your life?

 
Everything in God is your birthright – good health is your birthright, long life is your birthright, abundance is your birthright, wisdom is your birthright, hardwork and diligence is a part of the package. So arise and take full possession of that which belongs to you. The devil will not just leave you and walk away, he always puts up a fight even though he knows he cannot win, but he hopes you will be an ignorant believer who will sleep over his or her right and those are the people the devil takes advantage of.

 
I challenge you in this year of overcomers, refuse to give the devil an inch. Stand firm on your ground because total and complete victory is yours in Jesus’ name.

Power To Become.

John_1-12: Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God

Acts_1-8: But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

“But as many as received him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name:” John 1:12 (KJV)

 
One of the tragedies of the believer is the ability to walk in faith. We are so hung up on the physical that we take little or no notice of the things of the spirit. We forget that the spirit world rules, controls and governs the earth. Many of us have professed faith in Jesus. We have received Jesus as our personal Lord and Saviour. But my question is: why then are you still working around like an ordinary person?

 
Imagine if you are a member of the Royal family in the United Kingdom; think of it. The moment you are born into that family, they begin to groom you and raise you up in the full consciousness of royalty. Even as a child, while you can play and mingle, it is within certain boundaries, you know why? You are royalty. If that is true of earthly kingdom, how much more the Kingdom of our God – the King of kings and the Lord of lords? You know the challenge? Many Christians do not see the total package. Many have limited salvation to just going to heaven. No!!! It is more that that. When you gave your life to Christ, He gave you the power to become the son of God. The moment you accepted Jesus Christ into your life, you became royalty.

 
Now as royalty, the Kingdom demands the right carriage: you need to walk right, talk right and be all that God has ordained you to be and to achieve this, it takes us back to what we studied earlier – you need to study the word. Get to know your right and privileges and enforce it.

 
When God made man in Genesis 1, He gave man dominion. When Adam fell, he lost that dominion, but when Christ came, He restored man to the place of dominion. Why settle for less. Beloved, you are royalty. Even Angels cannot function without you because they operate with your words – when you speak, they carry out your instructions. You see why you need to speak the right thing? That takes me back to one of the keys we started this year with – the word of our testimony. Beloved, God has given you the power to become, so arise and take your rightful place.

Hebrews_13-5:Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Memorise: But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; – Ephesians 5:3

3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

Bible in One Year: 1 Timothy 1-6, Psalms 21

MESSAGE:

Today, we will examine one of the Ten Commandments; covetousness. The sin of covetousness is a cluster of many sins that sets man against his Maker. Upon the sin of covetousness hangs many other sins like stealing, sexual immorality and murder, hence the law:

“Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.” – Exodus 20:17

David, a God-fearing soldier, king and prophet fell because of covetousness. He coveted Bathsheba, his soldier’s wife; and went from one form of sin to another. Covetousness led him to adultery and adultery led him to a murderous act. When someone is caught in the sin of covetousness in the area of alcohol, he gets drunk and what next? Foolish talking and jesting that are not convenient become inevitable. The Bible says:

“31 Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright. 32 At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder. 33 Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things.” – Proverbs 23:31-33

Coveting your neighbour’s possession can lead to murder. The reason for this is that when someone covets his neighbour’s estate, and is unable to get it, he may resolve to kill the rightful owner to have it. This was the case in Ahab and Naboth’s story (1 Kings 21:1-16). Ahab organised a feast where Naboth should be framed up and killed by the scheme of his wife, Jezebel. Immediately the plan was hatched, the Lord sent His prophet to go and deliver His judgement upon Ahab. It was a judgement of vengeance.

“…Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou killed, and also taken possession? And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick thy blood, even thine.” – 1 Kings 21:19

Beloved, let us beware of the sin of covetousness as Jesus warned in Luke 12:15-20. The man in that story was boasting about what he possessed but that same night God required his soul from him. Our Lord then asked who those things he had acquired shall be for. Think about it and you will discover that covetousness is not worth it after all.

Action Point: Think of those things that entice you to acts of covetousness, pray and avoid being possessed by them.

Assurance Of Breakthrough. RCCG Open Heavens. Sermon And Prayer Points By Pastor E A Adeboye.

MESSAGE:

Breakthroughs are of the Lord. The earlier the children of God understand this fact, the better for them. People look around for breakthroughs as if their power will bring it to pass. It is pardonable for unbelievers but it is not acceptable to professed children of God who know what the scripture says about breakthroughs.

“Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.” – Zechariah 4:6

This is one of the reasons why we know that our tomorrow shall be alright. I discovered this a long time ago and the words “my tomorrow shall be alright” became our anthem in the Redeemed Christian Church of God. Not because I know how to go about things, but because I discovered that the breakthrough of a man has already been established before his creation. For example, it was not man that forced light to come, neither was it man that created the animal kingdom over which he was made king. Why should I worry about how God will bring about my breakthrough? My breakthrough is settled in Christ.

Divine guidance is the secret of breaking through obstacles and challenges of life. In our Bible reading for today, we read about the secret of the victory David had at the raid of Ziglag. After David had wept for his loss, he gathered himself together and asked God if pursuing the troops that invaded him would be a profitable one. To receive unfailing breakthrough, asking God for divine guidance is inevitable.

Moreover, a prayer of decree can guarantee assurance of breakthrough according to today’s Memory verse:

“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” – Job 22:28

Our Lord Jesus Christ assured us of breakthroughs against all obstacles that the enemies may try to bring our way:

“…Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.” – Matthew 21:21

Beloved, the Almighty God is the Source of all human breakthroughs. Therefore, bring yourself to the favour of your Maker today and you will experience the breakthrough of your dreams.

Prayer Point: Father, please remove all obstacles in my way to breakthrough and cause me to excel in Jesus’ name.

Demand For What Is Yours.

1-John_5-14: And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us

Matthew_21-22: And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

“And the keeper of the prison told this saying to Paul, The magistrates have sent to let you go: now therefore depart, and go in peace. But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned, being Romans, and have cast us into prison; and now do they thrust us out privily? nay verily; but let them come themselves and fetch us out.”

Acts 16:36-37 (KJV)
One very common truth I share with believers is that the promise of God will not fall on you like a bag of cherries. What you get, how victorious you live, is a function of the truth you know and the truth you enforce. Look at the scripture above, I am sure many people would have classified Paul as arrogant. The general feeling would have been: “just thank God you have been released, so run for your life” but not Paul. Apostle Paul knew his right as a Roman citizen. He knew the constitution and demanded his right and the moment the prison authorities heard that he was a Roman, fear came upon them and the magistrates came and begged them to leave.

 
What a lesson to us today? For many of us, the moment the devil harasses you a little, you are shaken all over and I hear funny comments like: “thank God it is only a headache, it could have been migraine”. Hogwash! When God saved you, He saved you totally – spirit, soul and body. When He promised you healing, it was complete healing, so why settle for less. You must be ready to demand your right. However, for you to do this, the first thing is for you to even know what belongs to you.

 
That brings us back to a very important thing; take out time to study the word. Commit at least one hour a day to God. One hour??? Might be your exclamation, but don’t worry, start with 10 minutes and grow with it gradually. I guarantee you that before the end of the year, if you stay consistent you will be spending one hour of quality Bible Study and prayers, and before you know it you will be spending 2 hours and so on. Don’t procrastinate; start now. Take out time to read the word and go a step further to study it. Reading gives you knowledge of your rights, as you meditate on the word you get to understand your right, and when you act on the word you enforce your right.

Divine Keys To Overcome.

1-John_4-4: Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

John_16-33: These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” Revelation 12:11 (KJV)

 
From the text above, we identified 3 main keys. Thank God for the blood of Jesus that washed us clean. Today, we will look at – THE WORD OF OUR TESTIMONY.
Prov. 6:2 declares “Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth”. The Message translation puts it in a very brief way “You may have trapped yourself by your agreement”. What you say is what you have agreed to. Just like your signature on a document signifies your acceptance of all that is in that document, so your words signify your agreement to whatever you are confessing.
What have you been saying with your mouth? Yes, what you are saying might be the truth but child of God; it is not the fact. The truth is the word of God. No wonder the ancient Prophet Isaiah declared in Isaiah 33:24 “The people of Israel will no longer say, “We are sick and helpless” for the Lord will forgive them their sins and bless them”. If God said this in the Old Testament and Jesus came to tear off the veil and extend the mercies of God to the gentiles, much more we have the right to declare our total victory. This is not limited to physical sickness, you can speak the life of God into every area of your life. Joel 3:10 further buttresses this fact and declares: “let the weak say, I am strong”. In which area are you weak, I command the strength of God to come upon you right now in Jesus’ name.
Align yourself with the word of God. Find out what the word says about you. Search the scriptures, there is a word there for every situation, when you find the word, stand on it. Sing it to yourself, declare it with your mouth. Refuse any lie of the devil and watch your victory manifest. You have what you say.

What Are You Thinking About?

Philippians_4-8: Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Ephesians_3-20: Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Philippians 4:8 (KJV)

Some believers see the word as a problem. Each time they are asked to open the Bible, they take it as a troublesome act. When you have this kind of attitude, I can tell you categorically that you are not going anywhere. Job said, “I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food” (Job 23:12, KJV). The Psalmist said in Psalm 119:162 (KJV), “I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.” In other words, anytime you open your Bible, you should rejoice that you are getting something new again. As you meditate on that word, say to yourself, “I will not die unsung. I will leave my footprints in the sands of time. I will overcome.” Such words will sink into your spirit. And just as Proverbs 23:7 puts it, as a man thinks in his heart, so he is. If you find yourself naturally thinking about the word, then your life will begin to align with your thoughts. Therefore what you fill your mind with is very important. So what are you thinking about?

Your thoughts will determine the actions you take. If you think about excellence, you will produce excellence. In the same way, if you think about mediocrity, you will produce mediocrity. Look at David: when he confronted Goliath, his words showed his thought pattern. He recalled the lion and the bear he had killed in times past and declared to Goliath his demise. And so it was.

So how do you think correctly? Our text for today answers that question: all things that are pure are right. Therefore, if you catch yourself thinking impure thoughts, simply arrest them and replace them with the right thoughts. If a thought is not lovely, change it to something else. Apply this word to your thought life and you will see drastic changes. Take this word and chew on it from now till Sunday. You will see many areas of your life changing for the better.

POWER OF YOUR MEDITATION.

Psalms_19-14: Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer

Joshua_1-8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8 (KJV)

When Joshua stepped into the big shoes of Moses, God gave him the key that would guarantee his success. Note that Moses had gone to be with the Lord, so Joshua had no choice but to succeed him. So Joshua needed a key that had been proven to be reliable and was sure to deliver; the key God gave him was meditation. This should show you the power of your mind.

Meditation actually works on your mind. It takes the word from the surface and makes it an integral part of you. God said to Joshua, “If you can meditate on the word day and night so that the word becomes a part of you, your success is guaranteed. It will not be ordinary success but outstanding success.” The same applies to you, so what more encouragement do you need?

Psalm 5:1 (KJV) says, “Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my meditation.” God will consider your words because they are in tune with His word. When you open your mouth to speak and it is in agreement with Kingdom principles, there will be nothing but results. Moreover, Psalm 19:14 (KJV) states, “Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord”. The meditation of your heart will be refreshing if you are not meditating on news from the radio, the TV, or the newspaper but on the incontrovertible truth of what God has said.

Psalm 104:34 (KJV) says, “My meditation of [the Lord] shall be sweet.” It will not be bitter. Perhaps the enemy has given you the bitter pills of life but when you begin to meditate on God’s goodness, His promises, and His faithfulness, the bitter pills will become sweet. Today, as you meditate on the word of God, I declare that every bitter pill the enemy has sent your way shall be turned sweet in Jesus name.
