Believing It, Is Seeing It. Faith

John_14-1: Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me

Matthew_21-22: And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

“For she said, If I may touch but His clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.” Mark 5:28-29

 
The world’s method is that until I see it, feel it, smell it, taste it, touch it, I cannot believe. “Seeing is believing” is the world’s method. In the kingdom of God however, believing it, is what will make you see it. That is what is called faith.

 
In our text above when you read the entire account about this woman, you will discover many other people touched Jesus and never received anything (v.31). This woman who had been bleeding for 12 years came and touched Him in faith, and Jesus felt the power leave His body (v.30) and that precipitated a healing explosion in her body. It was the hearing of faith about the goodness and love of Jesus that convinced her despite her physical condition that had not changed.

 
She believed that if she could touch His clothes she would be whole (v.28) Notice that the healing did not come before she believed, she believed first and acted in faith before she felt anything in her body. God wants you to believe in the same way. He is good and loving and wants you whole. (Rom 8:32). Don’t wait until you see because the devil will magnify the problem and deny you of your testimony, believe it, see it with the eye of the Spirit and it will manifest in the physical.

 
You can boldly declare His promise over your life in faith and expect a result and it shall come to pass.

Gospel! The Power To Save.

Romans_1-16: For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” Romans 1:16

 
The gospel of Christ is the good-news and each time you hear the gospel you are actually hearing The Good-News. This Good-News is the power of God for your salvation from hell, illness financial challenges, harm, marital challenges and other aspects of your life that needs God’s intervention. One thing is to hear the gospel and another thing is to understand it and believe it in your heart; and this must happen if you must get the benefit.

 
From our text you will discover that it is further buttressed in (v.17) that in this good news the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith. In other words, you are the righteousness of God. You received it by faith in His finished work on the cross and not by what you did right. It is from faith to faith not faith to works or works to works.

 
The Good-News is never preached to show you what is wrong with you but to show you what is now right with you because of Jesus. All you need to do now is to hear and believe in this saving power of the gospel of Christ to heal you of all sickness, preserve you from danger, prosper you and grant you bliss in your family.

 
The gospel of Christ is so good because it is true. Believe it and act on it and you will see the result.

Call On Jesus.

Romans_10-13: For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13

 
What a beautiful scripture we have today. Notice that this scripture is a qualifier for everyone. Oftentimes people discount themselves from coming to God because of the mess they have made of their lives. The devil jumps on your shoulders and tells you, there is no need trying, don’t even make any attempt, there is no use, you are not good enough to approach God. I want you to know that all these satanic suggestions are not enough to stop you.

 
God specializes in making messages out of messes. Your mess is a message to someone. The text today says “whosoever” calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Whosoever means anyone: man or woman, boy or girl, educated or illiterate, rich or poor, irrespective of your social status or financial status. The gospel is for “whosoever”.

 
No matter your condition, failure, mistakes or disadvantages. You are included in “whosoever”. You can be saved. Just call upon the name of the Lord. The son of man came to seek and to save those that are lost (Luke 19:10). If you have not yet given your life to Christ, right where you are, you can surrender to Him today, just turn to the last page and pray that simple prayer and you will be surprised that He will come into your life and make His abode in you and your life will never be the same again.

 
But that does not end there, also I encourage you to find a Bible believing church, a place where Jesus Christ is preached, the Holy Spirit is given absolute liberty and the word of God is the final authority. Blood Of Jesus.

Psalms_51-2: Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

“But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7

 
The assignment of the devil is to always accuse you of the mistake you have made or the sin you fell into. He tells you that you cannot come into God’s presence. He tells you that you are not qualified or clean enough to go near to God. The truth however is that irrespective of how you feel or what you have done the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses you from all sin. The word “cleanses” suggests a present continuous action.

 
In other words as a believer you have the benefit of the blood doing a continuous work of cleansing on your behalf. You should therefore rest on the truth that you are under continuous wash cycle of the blood of Jesus. In view of this you are always in the light. Revelations 12:10-11 says we overcome our accuser by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony.

 
The devil cannot defeat you when you release your faith in the blood that cleanses you continuously. You have to declare it to yourself that the blood of Jesus is cleaning you from every sin 24/7 and keep on moving with God. You will be surprised how many Christians are guilt ridden because their consciousness of sins condemns them.

 
Beloved the eternal blood of Jesus offers you eternal redemption and everlasting righteousness. Accept the payment of His blood as the final perfect and only sacrifices you will ever need. However, this is not a licence for sin, remember Apostle Paul asked a very pertinent question in Romans 6:1: shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? The answer is No! God Forbid! However, when you miss it and fall into sin, get up and dust yourself because you have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ, whose blood cleanses you from sin (1 John. 2:1). Hallelujah!!!

Who Shall Enter There In Eternity.

Romans_6-23: For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord

Text :
Psalm 24:1-6.

1. The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

 
2. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

 
3. Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?

 
4. He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

 
5. He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

 
6. This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.

Ephesians 5:5.

For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person–such a person is an idolater–has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

Introduction:

God is holy and He wants us to live holy in our daily walk with Him. He has given us rules to follow in other to be eligible to enter into His heavenly Kingdom at the end of our lives. His Word has spelt out what we need to do to get there and we shall get there in Jesus Name. Amen!

Who Shall Get There?

1. A man or woman with clean hands. Psalm 24:4

 
2. A man or woman with a pure heart. Psalm 24:4

 
3. A man or woman who does not worship idol. Psalm 24:4

 
4. A man or woman who do not swear deceitfully Psalm 24:4

 
5. An individual that seek God truthfully. Psalm 24:6

Conclusion:

Heaven is worth paying the price for. Pay the price to enter therein.

Eternity.

Text:
Revelation 21:1-7

1. And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

 
2. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

 
3. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

 
4. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

 
5. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

 
6. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

 
7. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Introduction:

The Word eternity could be explained as the timeless state after death. It could also mean immortal, endlessness, forever, without age, etc.
Eternity with God is an everlasting life with Christ in His Kingdom where Christ is crowned as king; I pray you will not miss it in Jesus Name, Amen!

The Following Will Happen In The New Heaven And The New Earth:

1. God will be with the saints and dwell with them forever.

 
2. God will wipe away the tears of all the saints.

 
3. In the new heaven there will be no sorrow, weeping, death or pain.

 
4. There will be no darkness there.

 
5. The glory of the Lord will be the light there.

 
6. The saints shall praise the Lord forever.

Conclusion:

New Testament Righteousness.

Romans_1-17: For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith

“But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” Romans 4:5

 
New Testament righteousness is a gift you received when you give your heart to Jesus Christ. It is not predicated on what good you have done. Isaiah 64:6 declares all your effort, works, struggles to become righteous before God are like filthy rags. So stop now and receive the gift of righteousness from God so that you can live for Him.

 
After the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross God imputes righteousness to anyone who believes in His son and not to those who obey the law Gal 2:16. In 2 Cor. 5:21 Jesus took our sins and gave us His righteousness. Romans 4:5-8. It is the righteousness that comes by faith. It is not because you are morally upright or that you exercise self-control or that you feel so or you’re more present than any other person. Like the songwriter wrote, it is not by works of righteousness but Jesus did it all. When you believe it your faith is accounted for righteousness. You didn’t really need faith to know that you are righteous by your deeds; you also don’t need faith to know you are sinful. But you need faith to declare your righteousness in Christ in the midst of your struggle with temptation and sin. When you have missed it and you remind yourself that you are the righteousness of God in Christ, the revelation will cause you to pick up yourself to do the right thing. I know the devil will jump on your shoulder to challenge your righteousness, remind him it is because of the blood and the finished work on the cross.

Righteous People Do Right.

Romans_8-2: For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Galatians_3-13-1: Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree

Romans_6-14: For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

“Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in His sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.” Romans 3:20

 
You cannot earn righteousness – try as much as you can, it is absolutely impossible. Yes by the deeds of the law, no flesh will be justified in the sight of God. We receive the gift of righteousness by faith. However, that does not give you a license to sin.
You do not become righteous by paying tithe, attending church services by fasting and praying, going on evangelism, singing in the choir and doing all that needs to be done. However, righteous people pay their tithes, attend church services, fast and pray, go on evangelism, sing in the choir and do all that are good to be done both in church and outside the church.

 
In fact it will be contradicting your nature, character (righteousness) if you don’t do those things. I am sure that has blown the air off the balloon of those who run off and say now that I am righteous I have the license to live anyhow.

 
The truth is that if you walk in the consciousness of your righteousness in Christ Jesus, the nature of God and the character of God in you will cause you to conduct yourself like Him anywhere.

 
I challenge you today to be righteousness conscious and watch your light shine in your world.

Work And Effect Of Righteousness.

Romans_10-10: For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation

Matthew_5-6: Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled

“And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.” Isaiah 32:17

 
When you finally come to terms with your righteousness in Christ, which is not by your works but simply by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, you will enter into an arena of peace you have never enjoyed.

 
Notice the text for today tells us something very powerful. The work of righteousness – that is, what righteousness delivers to you is PEACE, SHALOM – nothing broken, nothing missing in your life. The effect it produces is quietness and assurance. You must understand that peace, quietness and assurance are not really absence of challenges. But rather a knowing that no matter the challenges you are guaranteed victory. When you have the peace of God, no matter the storm, you will be relaxed knowing that head or tail your win.

 
I remember the account of Jesus in the storm with his disciples in Mark 4; while the turbulence was on, He was fast asleep. The storm could not wake Him until His disciples called on Him. The disciples were so amazed that he could be asleep in the midst of the storm. They did not know what Jesus knew. Jesus knew that He was on an assignment at it was impossible for anything to kill Him before the assignment is fulfilled. Secondly, He also knew that His Father is in absolute control. Think of it: why should you panic when your Father, who loves you so much is in absolute control. That experience was a display of the work of righteousness, which is peace and the effect which is quietness and assurance, that is your portion today in Jesus’ name.

Garbage In, Garbage Out.

Psalms 37:23: The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

“A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.” Mathew 12:35

 
How do you want to conduct yourself on a daily basis? What type of result do you want to produce in your life? Are you tired of the results you are getting? You need to pay very close attention to today’s text. The text is simply saying to you that what you put into you is what you will produce. When you feed yourself with garbage or you allow your life to be a garbage dump where all kinds of evil things are stored, it will be very impossible to bring out anything good from it.

 
Your mind is like the computer: garbage in, garbage out. It is impossible to fill your mind with negative stories and negative reports and produce positive answers. No! That is absolutely impossible. You are a product of what you feed on. If you feed on all the negative news in the world today – famine, wars, flood, death, etc. you will produce exactly that. But if you feed yourself with the word of God, then you will produce health, joy, peace etc. and people will love to hang around you because the air around you will be welcoming.
It is your choice, a good man stores up things in the treasure of his heart so that he is guaranteed good results. Refuse the company of evil people who do nothing other than evil so that you do not end like them. Life is too short to be wasted on things that are not worthwhile.

Easy Yoke Of Christ Jesus.

Matthew_11-29: Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

“For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Mathew 11:30

 
Life is full of choices, but life does not permit vacuum. You cannot straddle the fence. You are either with God and you take the complete package or you are with the devil and take the complete package. You cannot be in the middle.

 
You have a choice to settle for the yoke that will weigh you down and reduce you to the lowest common denominator or go for an easy yoke. There is no middle line in this matter. You will be surprised how many people that are under the yoke of sin, sickness, diseases, poverty, frustration etc. they are running from place to place for an answer without any result. While they are busy doing their own thing, Jesus is offering them an easy yoke, which they have refused to accept.

When you yoke with Jesus:

1. You will enjoy fellowship with Him

 
2. You will submit to Him and let Him lead you where there is green pasture and besides the still water. He knows exactly where to lead you for your struggles to end

 
3. You will work with Him. Can you imagine working with Jesus? That suggests there will be no wasted efforts. You will do exactly what is needed and not trial and error.

 
Wow, that is easy yoke. Go for it today. Don’t meddle with the yoke of the devil, it is a trap to catch you and enslave you. Don’t allow yourself to be bound by lie of the devil, take the yoke of Jesus and learn of Him knowing that His yoke is easy and His burden is light.

Show The World The Love Of God.

Matthew_5-14: Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid, I Am The Light Of The World

“For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.” John 3:16 (AMP)

 
Today, the world celebrates Valentine’s Day. People are doing everything to show their loved ones how much they love them and everyone is responding in his or her own way to the love shown. Take for a moment to imagine how you will feel if you sent a loved one a flower today and they send it back just the same way you sent it? Of course, I don’t need to ask, I know that you will feel so bad and will find it difficult to forgive. Let me paint a second scenario, can you imagine calling your friend and sending him with a gift to your loved one and rather than delivering it, he or she drops it on a chair and claims to be too busy to deliver the message? Can you imagine any of these two scenarios happening to you?

 
Take a moment and look at the story again – can you see yourself there? Are you the one whom Jesus died for yet is refusing to accept him? Can you imagine someone loving you so much that He gave His life in exchange for yours? Have you reciprocated by inviting Him into your life? If not, please take time now to invite Him into your life and you will be glad you did. Or are you like the second guy whom his friend gave a gift but he refused to deliver it – no matter the size – with flimsy excuse? Beloved, if you are not winning souls, you are like the second man and God is not pleased with you.

 
It is time to get back to the basics, put God in the prime place of His life and watch Him do incredible things in your life. Show your world your God. Bring them to the Lord and they will be forever grateful to you for such a great gift.

Don’t Stop Praising God.

Psalms_108-3: I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations

“I will bless the LORD at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Psalm 34:1 KJV

 
I want to encourage you to allow the joy of praising the Lord to continue in your heart at all times and in every situation because when praises go up, blessings come down. Don’t ever give up, when God says you should rejoice, understand that He has already made provision for your victory ahead of time. He is not just thinking of what to do about your case nor is He thinking of how to do it; beloved, He had already finished it ever before He told you about it. What you are seeing or experiencing now cannot change what God has already done in your life because the devil cannot undo in time, what God has perfected in eternity.

 
You need to arm yourself with this truth so that you can rid yourself of worry, anxiety and hopelessness. Philippians 4:6 says “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God” I challenge you to continually praise God and make melody in your heart always, because God is in perfect control of that situation in your life.

 
I can hear you say but I am still seeing symptoms of sickness in my body; so where is this victory that you are talking about? In addition, my business also has not really picked up as it should, nor has my finances improved at all. Yes, I know you may still be seeing the symptoms of the sickness; I know you may have the doctor’s report, but beloved these are just facts but they are not the truth. The truth is that the ailment has been paid for at Calvary and if so, the enemy has no business putting it on you. Praise God and receive your victory in every area of life now because it is fully paid for.
