Psalms_51-11: Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

This testimony is worth sharing:

At Calvary Baptist Church, the assistant youth pastor gave this testimony and he said

” a Christian was travelling by plane and sitting beside him was a Muslim man in his dress, turban, etc.

The Muslim ask: what is your name?

The Christian: I’m Christopher.

Muslim; Oh, then you are a Christian!

Christian; yes I am.

Muslim: Can I ask a question?

Christian: please go ahead

Muslim: who is the husband of Mary?

Christian: Joseph
Muslim: who is Jesus’ Father?

Christian: God.
Muslim: so you mean God committed adultery by giving birth with someone’s wife? Just explain to me!

So the Christian pull out his note book and a pen And wanted to make a note to explain to this Muslim friend.
As he was about to start the Holy Spirit told him to begin to speak in tongues.

So this Christian spoke in tongues for about 3 minutes and stopped.

The Muslim Friend ask ” do you speak Arabic?
Do you know me from my childhood?
Cos you just spoke in Arabic and told me everything including the fact that the one who took care of me is not my biological Father.

Instantly, everything was clear to the Muslim
AND he asked the Christian friend to pray for him and he got converted!

What I learnt which tells me to share is that. I should forget about the little grammar I can speak , or my little knowledge of the Bible,
Rather let the Spirit speak.

When the Holy Spirit is in charge He does the convicting. And where the spirit of GOD is there is liberty.

4. Father! Teach them Your ways so that they will know You and finds favour with You.

7. Help them keep hold of truth with a clear conscience.

The Gift Of Righteousness.

The Gift Of Righteousness.

Romans_10-10: For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation

For if by one man’s offence death
reigned by one; much more they which
receive abundance of grace and of the
gift of righteousness shall reign in life by
one, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17).

Righteousness is the nature of God, which
was imparted to your spirit when you were
born again; it’s a gift from God to the whole
world, but not everyone has received it. However,
those who receive the gift of righteousness, according
to the scriptures, shall reign in life! The Amplified
version says, they shall reign as kings in life.
The word “reign” in Romans 5:17 above is
actually a verb, which in the original Greek construction
means “to king”; that expresses authority, dominion,
and mastery.

Righteousness makes us masters in life;
we reign, or “king” in life, through righteousness.
Righteousness-consciousness eliminates any sense of
guilt, condemnation, or inferiority from us; it places us
ahead and above Satan and his accusations. It also gives
us the boldness and confidence to pray to God and
expect answers; we’re unafraid and unashamed before
Him, because we have His righteousness.

Without an understanding of righteousness, a
Christian can’t live victoriously over the enemy. He’ll be
subject to the elements of the world, not understanding
the extent and potency of his authority in Christ. This
is why you must keep growing in the knowledge of
God’s Word. Ephesians 4:14 says, “That we henceforth
be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried
about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of
men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to
deceive.”

Be conscious that you’re the righteousness of
God in Christ Jesus. There’re some Christians who
experience spiritual attacks; that’s because they aren’t
righteousness-conscious; they aren’t living the Word.
They haven’t come to the realisation that they’re kings
in life. Isaiah 32:1 lets us know that kings reign in
righteousness.

By virtue of your new life in Christ, and your
position as a righteous king-priest, the whole world is
subdued before you. You have the mastery over Satan
and his cohorts of darkness; you’re a champion for life!
Glory to God!

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for your righteousness in my
spirit, which has made me a master over Satan and
the powers of darkness, and has put me in a position
of advantage. I reign and rule as a king, walking in
mastery and victory over circumstances. The world is
subdued before me, in the Name of the Lord Jesus.
Amen.

1-Corinthians_2-9: But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him

But I say unto you, Love your enemies,
bless them that curse you, do good to
them that hate you, and pray for them
which despitefully use you, and
persecute you (Matthew 5:44).

From the verse above, it’s clear that there’ll
always be those who might dislike you,
persecute you, and despise you; but you’re
only permitted to respond to them in love. The actions
or attitude of such people should never provoke you to
act contrary to your true nature, which is love. God is
love, and anyone who loves is of God, and knows God.

The summation of God’s character is love; we’re
therefore to emulate Him by walking in love. Ephesians
5:2 (AMPC) admonishes us to “…walk in love,
[esteeming and delighting in one another] as Christ
loved us and gave Himself up for us, a slain offering and
sacrifice to God [for you, so that it became] a sweet
fragrance.” 1 John 4:7-8 says, “Beloved, let us love one
another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth
is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not
knoweth not God; for God is love.”

In our journey of faith, there’ll always be those
who’ll test us; everyone who relates with you is placed
there by God for your benefit; whether they’re helping
you or they’re against you doesn’t make any difference.
It doesn’t stop God’s plan of promoting you. If they’re
kind, loving, and helpful to you, appreciate them and
praise God for them; if they’re otherwise, love them
nonetheless.

If someone accuses you falsely, for example, or
you’re lied against, don’t get upset and try to justify
your innocence to the point of acting in a manner that’s
not befitting to righteousness. Rather, keep walking in
love. Love is a force—the greatest power in the
universe—and it’ll always win.

Our love-walk is the primary proof that we love
the Lord, and it speaks of our oneness and
like-mindedness with Him. Romans 5:5 says the love of
God has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy
Spirit; that means you have the capacity to love as He
does. Jesus said, “By this shall all men know that ye
are my disciples, if ye have love one to another” (John
13:35). What a way to distinguish ourselves from the
rest of the world!

PRAYER
Dear Father, you’ve given me the ability to love like
you, and I’m so grateful! You’ve granted me an
understanding of the extraordinary dimensions of
your love; that love radiates through me profusely to
others! Thank you for making me the dispenser of
your goodness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The Word Of God Is A
Mirror

2-Corinthians_3:18: But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only… (James 1:22).

To the new creation, the Word of God is a
mirror, and not a compilation of
commandments to be obeyed. The Christian
is a Word practitioner. This is something many are yet
to understand.

For example, when you read in Ephesians 5:3-4:
“But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness,
let it not be once named among you, as becometh
saints; Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting,
which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks,”

it’s not a commandment. It’s not telling you what you
must not do. Rather, it’s showing you who you are; the
righteousness of God in Christ, with a sanctified heart,
mind, and tongue.

The Word of God reflects your true nature,
identity, origin, and heritage in Christ. The more you
look at the Word, the more you see yourself. God’s
Word is life; something to live out.

For example, when Jesus said, “A new
commandment I give unto you, That ye love one
another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one
another” (John 13:34), He was addressing men and
women of the senses; people who weren’t born again.

But being born again, and having received the Holy
Spirit, the Bible says, “…the love of God is shed abroad
in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us”
(Romans 5:5).

We’re not now commanded to love; we’re born
of love; we’re the offspring of love; love is our nature.
Thus, Romans 5:5 is a description of who you are. Once
you can accept it, you become it. That’s the principle!
When you read something in the New Testament that
sounds like, “Don’t do this or don’t do that,” it means
we’re those who don’t do such things! It’s a picture of
you.

The Word, particularly the Epistles, paint the
picture of the new creation. That’s how come as you’re
studying and meditating on the Scriptures, suddenly,
the Word of God comes alive to you! It then becomes
how you see yourself every day.

That’s the miracle of growth, because as you
discover who you are in the Word, you discover your
beauty, and your glory increases. It’s a life of
ever-increasing glory through the Word. Hallelujah.

CONFESSION
I’m the expression of the unseen Christ, the
brightness of His glory. As He is, so am I in this
world; and as I stay my mind on the picture of me
that I see in the Word, I’m transformed; I experience
ever-increasing glory. Hallelujah!

Psalms_37-5: Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

1. Intense praise and worship

2. Ask God for mercies for past acts of non-commitment

3. Pray that you will be more available for God use this year. 2 Tim 2:21

4. Pray that our Churches at home and abroad will be more committed to the courses of mission outreaches. 2 Cor. 6:1

5. Pray that you will be more passionately involved in missions, evangelism, Church planting and discipleship this year. Matt 28: 19

6. Pray that they will do this by the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Lk. 24:49; Acts 1:8;

7. Ask the Lord to send more (Labourers) missionaries to un-reached people groups. Matt 9:37-38, Mk.16:15.

8. Pray that the Church will have willingness and passion to commit more resources to missions, support and empowering of missionaries.

9. Pray that the end time spirit of lukewarmness will lose its hold over the life of brethren in the Church of God. 2 Tim 3:4

10. Pray that your love for God and the things of His house shall not wax cold. 2 Tim 3:2

Luke_2-14: Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men

The Hebrew word for Glory is kavod, meaning importance, respect, honour and majesty.

We will look at three dimensions of Glory:

1. Glory as Light: 1 Corinthians 15:40-42 tells us that there is a connection between glory and light. Although the shinning of the sun differs from that of the stars, one thing that is sure is that when there is glory there will be shinning.

In other words, darkness cannot stand where there is glory, John 1:4-5. This is why I know that darkness and everything that represents darkness (sickness, poverty, sorrow, defeat, loss etc) shall become history in your life from this month, in the name of Jesus.

2. Glory as The Way: The wise men from the East would never have been able to locate Jesus if the glory of God (the star) had not shown them the way, Matthew 2: 1-12. Moses understood the importance of divine leading in the journey of life. He insisted that the glory of God would go ahead of him. Exodus 33:14-15

In the name that is above every other name, the glory of God will lead you throughout this year and in the years to come. You will not make wrong moves anymore. The Lord will order your steps aright and you shall make success with ease, in Jesus name.

3. Glory as the opposite of shame: Jabez had lived in shame with the name sorrow before he cried out to God and the glory of God located him, 1 Chronicles 4:9-10. God blessed him, enlarged his coast, guarded him and kept him away from evil. He turned his sorrow to honour among his brethren.

I pray that the glory of God will locate you this month and every source of shame in your life shall disappear, in Jesus name. Everyone who has been laughing at you will now laugh with you. Those who have rejected you will seek you from now. You will not bow down your head in shame, in Jesus name.

As exciting as the concept of glory is, there can be no glory without God. Therefore, I urge you to do the following:

a. Accept God as your Lord and Saviour
b. Anchor your life in Him.
c. Fasten your seat belt and be ready to take a flight of faith to the top.

Surely, I will see you at the top.

There Shall Be Showers Of Blessing.

Ephesians_1-3. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

(Bible Basis: Ezekiel 34:26 “And I will make them
and the places round about My hill a blessing;
and I will cause the shower to come down in his
season; there shall be showers of blessing.”)

1. “There shall be showers of blessing:”
This is the promise of love;
There shall be seasons refreshing,
Sent from the Savior above.

Showers of blessing,
Showers of blessing we need;
Mercy-drops round us are falling,
But for the showers we plead.

Precious reviving again;
Over the hills and the valleys,
Sound of abundance of rain.

3. “There shall be showers of blessing:”
Send them upon us, O Lord!
Grant to us now a refreshing;
Come and now honor Thy Word.

O, that today they might fall,
Now, as to God, we’re confessing,
Now as on Jesus we call!

If we but trust and obey;
There shall be seasons refreshing,
If we let God have His way. Amen.
