Psalms_103-8: The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy

We can get angry as human beings and people can upset us because of their attitude. However, if you do not take hold of yourself and treat the matter there and then and let it go, you may end up hurting yourself the more when you harbor the anger in your heart and it breeds bitterness which if not rooted out will get to the level of deep seated desire for revenge. Anger is like a wound on the body, which if not treated could get infected and festers.

Today, try and work on your temper and try to calm down even when things are not going well. This will help you to address the matter in a mature way than opening your mouth in anger and saying things you will come to regret later. Biko (please) Calm Down!
