Job_19-25: For I know that my Redeemer lives

There are times when a person’s world falls apart. In one day, Job lost everything he owned including his ten children. Though his suffering was extreme, he still found the inner strength and grace to worship God by saying, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and The Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.” What an awesome way to worship God!

Job’s suffering was by no means unique. Being a true believer does not automatically exclude a person from trials and temptations. Suffering has enormous power and people react differently under intense suffering. While some may be overwhelmed and become cynical and bitter, others may emerge from their experiences transformed to be more resolute in the faith they have in the providential and sovereign God.

James in 5: 11 speaks of Job’s perseverance, “As you know, we consider blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.” Many people would have felt insulted by the word of Jesus Christ to the gentile woman who sought healing for her daughter. Rather than being offended, she worshipped the Lord and received an answer to her petition (Matthew 15: 21 – 28). She also became one of the two persons whose faith is referred to in the Bible as “great.” If you were in her situation, what would your reaction be to such an insult?

Challenge God with your worship today and everyday, and you will be amazed at the result.

I affirm prophetically that I will win all the battles of the mind and defeat all my enemies by meditating on God’s Word, the more I meditate, the stronger I’ll become and the more easily I’ll win the victories.

I declare that meditating on God’s Word brings results. As I ponder on who God is and what He’s saying to me , I’ll grow. It’s really that simple.

I affirm that If I read about and allow my mind to focus on God’s love and power, that’s what will operate in me, the more I meditate, the more I grow and become.

I declare that my challenge is not my challenge, my challenge is the way i think about my challenge. My problem is not my problem; it is the way I look at it.

God Hates Excuses. No Excuse.

1-Peter_5-8: Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour

Genesis 3: 8 – 19

“The woman you put here with me – she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.” That was Adam’s answer to God’s enquiry concerning His commandment that he should not eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

As descendants of Adam and Eve, we still love to ‘pass the buck.’ When we find ourselves in a bad situation, many would rather point accusing fingers at other people than owning up to their faults. We blame our parents and our teachers in school for our failure. We blame either the referee or the coach when we lose a match. We blame our family members and friends for our poverty and we blame God for an unfulfilled life. God will, however, not accept any excuse for our failure to obey His commandments. There are consequences for all wrongdoings. The sin of Adam and Eve brought separation between God and man and dire consequences for our earthly sojourn.

King Saul also gave excuses when he was queried by Samuel for performing burnt offering to God instead of waiting for the prophet (1 Sam. 13: 11 – 12). David on the other hand did not give any excuse for his adultery with Bathsheba and the murder of her husband, Uriah. He admitted his guilt and God forgave him.

We move ahead in life to accomplish God’s will for our lives when we own up to our mistakes and take corrective measures. There is no excuse why you should not go back to school, start a new business, forgive those who have offended you, and most importantly, praise and worship God at all times and in all situations.

MEMORY VERSE:
1 Samuel 15: 22 “But Samuel replied: Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the voice of the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice and to heed is better than the fat of rams.”

PRAYER:
Lord, give me courage to always own up my wrongs and to truly ask for forgiveness rather than blaming others in Jesus’ name I ask. Amen.

The True Passage Of The Knowledge Of God

Proverbs_1-7: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction

1 John 2: 1 – 5

In his book, “Consider Jesus,” Vance Havner wrote: “You have not really learned a commandment until you have obeyed it… The Church suffers today from Christians who know volumes more than they practice.”

The true Passage of our knowledge and love of God is obedience to His commandments. According to John, “He who says, ‘I know Him’, and does not keep His commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him.” When a Christian falls into sin, the indwelling Holy Spirit convicts the person of sin leading to repentance and forgiveness which is made possible by the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ on our behalf.

Nothing short of full obedience is acceptable to God. The commandments of God cannot be turned into a buffet table where we pick and chose what is appealing or convenient for us. The kingdom of Israel was taken away from Saul, the first king to reign over united nation of Israel due to partial obedience (1 Sam. 15). “Has the Lord great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed than the fat of rams” (1 Sam. 15: 22), was the sharp rebuke he got from Samuel.

Our offerings and service cannot replace obedience to God no matter how much we give or how well we serve. What we are called by God to do at times might not be convenient or in line with our natural inclinations. In such circumstances we have a perfect role model in Jesus Christ who, “humbled Himself and became obedient to death – even death on a cross” (Philippians 2: 8). As Jesus got a reward for His obedience, great reward awaits all who walk with the Lord in full obedience to His commandments.

PRAYER:
Lord, grant me a heart of obedience to Your Word and let me never disobey You through my sojourn in this sinful world in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Do Not Boast

Jeremiah_17-7-2: Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.

Jeremiah 9: 23 – 26

What do you make of the following statements, “I built this factory with my sweat,” “I raised my children without help from anybody,” “I paid my way through university.” Before you judge and condemn them as boasting, consider the statements, “I will call you later” or “I will see you tomorrow.” You probably have decided not to “cast the first stone.” To boast is to brag or speak with arrogance or pride.

The Word of the Lord that Jeremiah delivered to his countrymen in our Passage for today cautioned against boasting. He says “Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom or the strong man boast of his strength or the rich man boast of his riches.” God admonished that the boasting of man should be in his understanding and knowledge of God as the sovereign Lord.

The Philistine champion, Goliath, was nearly 10 feet tall. He was a giant who took a lot of pride in his physical attributes. He met his defeat and death in his encounter with young David. Let us consider David’s response to the giant’s ranting; “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.” David demonstrated clearly that he had a good understanding and knowledge of God and that is why he was able to do great exploits for God as recorded in the Bible. “My soul will boast in the LORD; let the afflicted hear and rejoice,” he declared in Psalm 34: 2.

It is our continual duty to boast in the Lord and ascribe our achievements to His providence. This is delightful in the sight of the Lord.

PRAYER:

Lord, don’t allow me to be presumptuous in my utterances and attitude but make me humble and obedient to Your will in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Fulfil Your Ministry Of Reconciliation.

Mark_16-15: And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature

Colossians 3:1-4

Jesus came into the world to initiate the ministry of reconciliation and left it in the hands of His disciples to continue. He took them all and trained them for the job. He told them about the perils and persecutions they will face and as well empowered them for them. Beloved, we are products of the works of these disciples and there are evidences with us today.

This ministry requires us to look away from the things of the world. It requires us to set our hearts on the things above. It requires that we stand in earnest expectation of the appearance of the Lord and the need to expedite action to meet the deadline for the Lord. If we have been raised with Christ, Who now sits at the right hand of God the Father, then the glory of that place should be attractive to us; we should seek to do exactly as the Lord Jesus had done so as to be able to sit with Him.

If Christ had not fulfilled His ministry, He would not have had a place at the right hand of the Father in heaven. Christ obtained His place because He fulfilled His own ministry here on earth. Every one of us as well needs to fulfil our own various ministries as given to us so that we can have our own place in the kingdom of heaven.

Do not allow the things of the world to divert your attention from the things of heaven and you shall find yourself entering His glorious presence to gain a place in His kingdom. Fulfil your ministry and you shall rejoice in the end.

“Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.”

Dearth Of The Word Of God.

Hebrews_4-12: For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart

Text: Amos 8:7-14

In 1 Samuel 3:1, a very disturbing situation was presented, that in the days of Eli the priest, the word of the Lord was very scarce and there was no open vision.

The question to be asked is “Where had the word of the Lord gone to?” or “Why did the Lord withdraw His word?” Whichever way we want to see it or answer it, it is the fault of those responsible for receiving the word that had gone out of touch with heaven. It is a pity for any minister of the Lord who does not hear from the Lord, nor sees revelations and whose heavens have been closed.

Beloved, the famine of the word of God is not usually the fault of the congregation but of the priests. If the Lord would leave the sanctuary to seek for another person who would hear His word for the people, then the ministers or priests are in great danger. When there is famine of the word, there is calamity dangling ever the congregation. If your minister is operating under a closed heaven, you are definitely going to remain in utter darkness.

The Book of Prophet Amos says that people shall wander from sea to sea, north to the east, run to and fro to seek for the word of the Lord but alas, it is nowhere to be found, young virgins and young men faints (Amos 8:12). This is the reason for most people looking for another church for help. Famine of the word will bring stress and sorrow over the people; it will make people to wander from pillar to post. Every minister is encouraged to develop a great affinity for the Word and your ministry will prosper.

Ezekiel 7:26 “Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumour shall be upon rumour; then shall they seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients.”

PRAYER:
Lord fill our ministers with fresh words from Your throne every day every time, also let my ears be attentive to Your Word that we may not live in the darkness of life in Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Prayer: Father, open my ears that I may hear from You this very night.

Father Almighty we bless Your name, Lords of hosts, King of Glory, The Lord strong and mighty, glory to Your holy name. Thank You for what You’ve done in past conventions, thanks for tonight and tomorrow.

Greet your neighbor and Say Your Excellency, Tonight is my Night
Today, God gave us additional 23 babies with a set of twins among them: 13 boys, 10 girls. We now have a total of 86 babies, 45 boys and 41 girls.

Announcement: The Holy Ghost service next month will be themed; LIFTED INTO GLORY

The theme for the Youth Convention in October is HIS POWER AND GLORY.

Tonight is one of such nights that comes once in a lifetime. In the next one hour, your life will not remain the same. The Lord says I should tell someone before this night is over, He’ll touch you three times.

Don’t just hear tonight. Hearken; catch the Word of God with your spirit.

Genesis 1:1-3 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And 1. God said, Let there be light: and there was light. It is possible for a crowd of people to gather, God will speak and only one person would hear. Again the importance of any statement is dependent on who is speaking or making the statement. When God said let there be light, He meant let confusion end, there must be order now.

1 Corinthians 14:33. Separate light from darkness. John 9:5, Matthew 5:14-16: Jesus called us the light of the world, He separated us into Himself. Tonight I’m saying to someone, darkness will leave you alone.

2. God said, Let there be light: Let Progress Begin. Exodus 10:21-23. Darkness stops Progress. When you are surrounded by darkness, you can’t move, When Light comes, Motion Begins Genesis 26:12-14. I say to someone today, Your progress will be accelerated!!

3. God said, Let there be light: fruitfulness begin. Genesis 1:21-22. I decree that your emptiness ends tonight.

4. God said, Let there be light: Let joy begin Psalm 30:5. I decree from today, you shall sorrow no more. The one I probably the most under the light series is let joy begin. I decree to someone here, Sorrow ends in your Life tonight!!!

Prayer Point: Father, command light into my life in the mighty name of Jesus. First time God spoke to man, He said, You are Blessed! Genesis 1:26-28.

1. To be Blessed: It means let all the forces in Heaven and in Earth see to it that you succeed. Genesis 27:26-29

Not every soil is good soil, even Jesus affirmed so in Matthew 13:3-8. But being blessed means that even the earth will favour you. I decree in Jesus name that from now on, you’ll sow on good soil. From now on everywhere you go, you’ll have helpers. The Lord ask me to tell you, the people you expected to help you didn’t show up, He’s saying I’ll show up for you

2. To be Blessed: It means you cannot be cursed of man. Numbers 23:5-11. I decree that every curse in your life will be changed to a blessing.

3. To be Blessed: It means whatever you touch will multiply Psalm 23:5. Because you’re here tonight, your joy will overflow.

Prayer: Father, Because you said I am Blessed I command Every forces in Heaven and in Earth to come to my aid Now!!!

Prayer: Father, I demand Multiplication because I must begin to Overflow now!!

4. To be Blessed: It means I will protect you Isaiah 54:17 And God said no weapon fashioned against me shall prosper. Mark 16:17–18 No poison will have any effect on you. I decree any witch or wizard that tries to harm you they will die. Daddy says before the end of this month, you’ll sing a song and that song will be
“Jesus, You’re a wonder,

You’re a wonder to my soul.”

Daniel 3:14-30 A King got angry with God’s sons and decided to heat up for and burn them alive. The fire was so hot that it burnt its feeders. But God told the fire to suspend its ability to burn. I decree anyone planning to throw you into fire, the fire will finish them. Daniel 6:1-the end. Even Daniel was thrown into the den of lions.
God shut the mouth of the Lions for Daniel.

Prayer: Father, According to your word, Protect me and all members of my Family.

5. To be Blessed: It means I will provide for you Genesis 17:1. God said to Abraham, I am the Almighty God, the All Sufficient God.
He can provide through any Means:
1 Kings 17:2-6. He provided through birds
1 Kings 19:1-8 He provided through Angels
John 6:5-13 He provided through a small boy.
I don’t know how God will do it, but I’m decreeing that all your needs shall be met!

Father, please, I don’t want to know the method You will use or how You want to do it, just send help to me and my family urgently in Jesus name.

6. To be Blessed: It means I will promote you Isaiah 66:1 God said Heaven is my throne, the earth is my footstool. God is higher than the Highest. No seat is bigger than He’s own. Proverbs 21:1

God can control even the sleep of Kings. Esther 6:1-13, I decree today; anyone who can help you but doesn’t want to, God will take away their sleep.
Daddy says the sun that will rise tomorrow morning will mark the beginning of your rising.

God caused Pharaoh to have two frightening dreams because Joseph had to be promoted from being a prisoner to a prime minister Genesis 41:44, I don’t know who I’m talking to, any force hindering your promotion, God will give them dreams tonight.

Prayer: Father, Tonight Command my Promotion. Father, it may look as if I might never fulfill my destiny, please Lord, You have the final say, speak a Word into my life!

7. To be Blessed: It means I have the last say Revelation 3:7, Psalm 33:11 God said, I have the Keys of David, When I open no man can shut, When I shut no man can open. If He says it, it is settled.

How to get to the Heavenly Home with Many Mansions?

1. Believe in God and His promises.

Why don’t you just go ahead and worship the One who can do all things, the Almighty God, the King of kings, the Lord of lords, the Ancient of Days, Magnify His Holy name all power belong to Him, He is the Almighty God, He can never fail, worship Him, magnify His holy name, glory be to Your holy name, thank You Daddy, glory be to Your holy name. Thank you Father. In Jesus mighty name we worshiped.

PRAYER
Father, speak to me tonight, your servant is hearing, let me hear Your voice, Lord speak to me directly.

WHAT A MIGHTY GOD WE SERVE,

Father we worship You, Ancient of days we bow before you, the unchangeable changer glory be to Your Holy name, please, accept our worship in Jesus name. Father, tonight, like never before, Glorify your holy name, as we thank you for the testimony we have heard we pray that tonight there will be greater testimonies.

God could speak to a crowd and only one fellow may hearken, the one who hearken will get the message. On Mount Camel God was speaking but only one man heard the sound of abundance of rain. A messenger heard and hearkened to the word of God and became a landlord. A miracle that will appear like a dream will come to your way now.

The power behind a statement is determined by the speaker. The one that said all will be well is the Almighty God, when He speaks it is done. Your faith in the one who speaks will affect the way you behave, the word has come to somebody – ALL WILL BE WELL.
ALL WILL BE WELL.

All will be well can mean different things to different people.

TO THE SICK: It means you will recover. Exodus 15:26, Matthew 9 :20-22. It all depends on you for you to be healed.
In the name that is above every other names every sickness will go tonight.

TO THE POOR: It means poverty will be over. Genesis 1:20-21 If you are listening, you will think how will it be, when you hearken, you hear what ordinary ear can’t hear. It means tell the poor that very soon you will be rich. Matthew 6:24-33. When He said all will be well, He’s not talking about your natural abilities but about His supernatural.

TO THE ONE WHO HAS FAILED
You will never fail again. Isaiah 43:13.
All you need for your failure to be forgotten is one major breakthrough. Malachi 3;10. In the name of the one who called me, before this week is over you will have your breakthrough.

TO THE BARREN: It means you shall be fruitful. Jeremiah 32:27.You will bring your children to next year convention.
Hearken diligently you will come rejoicing this time next year.

TO THE ONE IN BONDAGE
Forces of darkness will leave you alone. Isaiah 49;24-26. All forces of darkness will see you and run.

It shall be well with the righteous but woe to the wicked, it shall be ill with him. Isaiah 3:11. The wages of sin is death, If you want all to be well with you,you must surrender your life to Jesus.

John 9:1-7 God can recreate me for His glory. My God has enough power to cure the incurable Mark 5 :25-34 God has done it before He will do it again. Mark 1:40-45. My God has not change, Psalms 188:17 I will not die i will live and declare the work of God.

*Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, i command every sickness, disease, ache, pain in my body, disappear now. Mountain of sickness and disease move now.

POVERTY
My God is the All sufficient one. Genesis 17:1, Psalms 24:1, Haggai 2:8, Psalms 50:10, 1 Kings 17:8-16, I will be healthy and prosperous.
In the mighty name of Jesus, mountain of poverty, get out of my family, out of church, From tonight onward, everything your heart desire to do for God you will have more than sufficient to do them.

Go And Multiply.

Psalms_1-3: And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper

Prosperity, fruitfulness and multiplication are not for lazy Christians, but for humanity.

In the beginning, according to Genesis 1:27-30 God created man/woman (humanity) and blessed them and had given humanity a command to go and be fruitful and to multiply and to have dominion.

At that point, it was not about the believers nor about the Christians but about humanity (His own creation).

That’s why both hard working Christians prosper and hard working non-Christians prosper as well, that’s why atheists can have dominion and multiply: because we are all human.

The problem is basically the fact that lazy Christians have come to substitute work with prayer and void expectations.

Whenever God gives a command, what He expects from us is to get to work and not to pray.

I remember in the book of Ezekiel 37:1-14, when God commanded Ezekiel on what to say to the dry bones, Ezekiel didn’t go on to start praying, rather he acted on it and there was a result.

We need to understand when to work and when to pray. Most of the Biblical concepts of prosperity and multiplication deal with principles and not prayer nor vain consistency in church nor titles.

Stop equating success as a sign of being a Christian. The essence of Christianity is to be Christ-like.

Prayer is not the key to prosperity, it’s the key to the supernatural…

The key to prosperity is in adding value (work). When it comes to productivity (prosperity), work leads faith (prayer).

That’s why James 2:17 clearly tells us “Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead”.

When you pray to prosper without working to prosper, you will remain poor.

Hence this has been and is the problem of a lot of lazy Christian folks who just want to be touched by their pastors and forever be wealthy, or sip the Goya olive oil and feel it is done.

NEVER!!! will it be…

The Types Of Men Women Don’t Like.

Hebrews 13:4: Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

• AUTHORITATIVE MEN: Women want a friend & not a boss.
Marriage is between a king & a queen not a king and a slave.
A man should not use more than 10% of the authority God gave him on his wife.
Use your authority over Satan and demons
Use your power and authority in the market place to make money.

• UNFAITHFUL MEN:
Proverbs 20:6- “a FAITHFUL man who can find”
No woman loves a man that cheats (a man that she cannot trust).
As a single man you don’t continue to sleep around & expect to change when u are married and become a good husband.
Majority of the issues in marriages and relationships is caused by unfaithfulness.

• LYING & DISHONEST MEN: Marriage demands transparency.
Men should be open to their wives. Genesis 2:25

• A HOT TEMPERED & VIOLENT MEN: A man that cannot control his temper.
If a man believe that the best way to keep a woman quiet is through beating then you are ready for disaster.
If a man follows a women’s mouth he will commit murder.
A women’s mouth is a weapon to commit murder.
Weak men beat women.
Weak men abuse (verbally) women
If the way to show a woman that you are a man is by beating or abusing her, then you are not a man but a boy.
A good man must learn PATIENCE AND LONG-SUFFERING

• UNSPIRITUAL MEN: Every woman needs spiritual covering from her husband. Women prefer to learn from their husband about the things of God because it gives them joy. 1 Timothy 2:11.
It should be you leading the way spiritually as a man.

• STINGY MEN: Any man that cannot give to God will be stingy to his woman.
Learn to be free financially with your wife.
Give her money to hold.
Give her money for just herself and the kids
She must not account for every dime she spends.

• LAZY MEN: Men should go out and work, take care of their families and stop staying at home doing nothing. Proverbs 19:15,Proverbs 20:13,29
Young men should go out and hustle and work. Stop looking for already made or hard working ladies to marry so you can start eating their money.
No matter how little what you are bringing is, as long as you worked for it and it comes from you, your wife or fiancée will be happy.

• UNSEPARATED MEN: Gen. 2:24 “A man should leave his father and mother and cleave unto his wife”
A man should not take his wife’s weaknesses to his family
Things That Men Should Separation From
(i) Physical Separation
(ii) Financial Separation
(iii) Emotional Separation

• WOMEN DON’T LIKE MEN WHO ARE NOT CONFIDENT. A man should have confidence in himself.
You should be able to stand up for yourself.

• UNACCOUNTABLE MEN: Women like men that are accountable.
A man that has a head, that is somebody that he respects or listens to.
In times of trouble, that is their security.
Men that do things their way and should not be asked or questioned.

• INCONSIDERATE MEN: Always wanting your wife to do a particular thing (eg cooking) even when she is not feeling too fine.
Men should learn to help their wives.

Wake Up To Who You Are! We Are The Greatest In This Jungle Of Life.

1-John_4-4: Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

It is always a delight to watch Nat Geo Wild Channel. In it, I see a display of God’s wisdom; different animals displaying their strength and wit against their prey. But there is always a difference when the kings – lions show up on the scene; every other opposition takes cover. Now envision a lion without claws or teeth? Hmm, unimaginable right? Such a lion would move from predator to prey – even a goat will scare him. Sadly, that is our case– millions of believers without substance.

In the beginning, God made man in His image and likeness to have dominion and subdue the earth (Gen 1:26). Though the enemy came in Genesis 3,
In Col 1:13 In Christ, we have been redeemed from the dominion of darkness and translated into the kingdom of the son of His love. We are new men, old things have passed away behold all things have been made new (2 Corinthians 5:17). Beloved now are we sons of God!

If so, why are we under most of the time? It is simple, a lion without teeth cannot do anything. Your teeth are the revelation of who you are. It’s not a cliché, if you are a believer, you are literally the son of the Highest and all authority in the name of Jesus has been given to you. In most cases, because we don’t understand that Christ’s authority lies with us, we stay defeated for so long believing God to do what He is waiting for us to do.

God is waiting on you; this generation is waiting for you. How long will you put up with that addiction, that sickness, depression, and low self-esteem? Wake up to who you are; the bullet is in your mouth – start speaking God’s word over the issue. Go back to look into the mirror of God’s word and see who you really are – believe it and walk in it. My friend, we are the greatest in this jungle of life!!!

In the book of Job 22:28, the Scripture says when I decree a thing, it shall be established for me. I stand on this Scripture and decree. I have come into the presence of God today to plead my case. I enter through the gate of praise into the sanctuary of heaven. I cover myself in the precious blood of Jesus Christ. I baptize myself in the fire of the Holy Ghost. I charge this atmosphere with the fire of God, and I take this neighbourhood for the Lord. I arrest every principality and power, territorial spirit, and every throne and kingdom that is not of God. I cast you down and I command you never to lift yourself up against me, because I have the life of God in me. In the name of Jesus Christ, I confess my sins today, and I ask you O Lord to forgive me on the basis of your mercy. With all my heart, I forgive those who have sinned against me from the past through this moment. I release them from any form of guilt and shame, in the name of Jesus Christ. I hereby plead the blood of Jesus over any sins committed by my parents and ancestors. I cancel through the Blood of Jesus Christ, any satanic covenants, exchanges, vows or transactions made over my life, body, soul, spirit, and circumstances, in the name of Jesus Christ. I cancel every legal right that the devil may have against me, by the blood of Jesus Christ. The accuser of the brethren will have nothing against me as I come to the presence of God in prayer. The devil cannot hinder or delay my prayer, because I know who I am. I am a child of the Kingdom; I am a king and priest of the Lord, redeemed from the hand of the devil by the blood of Jesus Christ. I declare that all satanic thrones, altars, dominions, principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, queen of the coast, queen of heavens, household wickedness, spiritual hosts of wickedness and all satanic works, have no power or authority over my life. I declare that satanic harassment and intimidation have no effect on me. Today I receive divine strength to pray; I will not pray in vain. I will not pray amiss. My prayers will bring the desired results. I command the fountain of prayer to open now, and flow into my life, I command the warring angels of God to descend and fight on my behalf. Every minute and every hour that I spend in prayer will bring solution. Every prayer point will attract divine attention and divine intervention. I decree open heavens over my prayers, and today, God of heaven and earth will attend to my case.My prayers today will shake the heavens and move the earth; testimonies, miracles, healing, breakthrough, signs and wonders will follow my prayers. At the end of this prayer session, my life will never be the same again.

12. O God my Father, I appreciate you for all the good things you have done in my life and marriage/relationship, in Jesus’ name.

13. O God my Father, I confess and repent of every sin I have committed knowingly or unknowingly, in Jesus’ name.

14. O God my Father, I bring my marriage/relationship under your right hand of restoration today.

15. O God my Father, intervene divinely in my marriage/relationship, and bring a total positive change into it, in Jesus’ name.

16. O God my Father, restore and renew our love as couples,in Jesus’ name.

17. O God my Father, bring back to us our joy, peace and comfort, that led us into this marriage/relationship, in the name of Jesus Christ.

18. O God my Father, rekindle the longing and passion we had for each other; to be in each other’s hand, in Jesus’ name.

I cover my prayers in the blood of Jesus Christ. According to the Word of God, I have asked, I shall receive. I have knocked the door, it shall be opened unto me. I have sought, I shall find, in the name of Jesus Christ. It is written, “… Decree a thing, and it shall be established”. As I have spoken in prayer, it shall be so. My prayers shall produce desired results. My prayers shall produce desired miracles. My prayers shall produce desired testimonies, in the name of Jesus Christ. Territorial spirit and power cannot hinder this prayer. Sins and flesh cannot hinder this prayer. It is done. It is sealed by the blood of Jesus Christ. It is delivered to me, in Jesus might name. Suicide Note, Dear Mum.

John_10-10: The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Dear mum,

It’s with a heavy heart that I write you this note, knowing the amount of pain it is going to cause you. Mum, I want you to know that I love you dearly and will ever love you. If I am given the opportunity to live again I will still choose you as my mum and our family will still be my place of birth. But unfortunately, I know that there is not going to be any such opportunity.

Mum, I didn’t want to do this, but I was compelled by circumstances beyond my control to take the plunge. I tried my best to pull through, but my best was not good enough. I battled alone for about thirteen months now until my strength failed me. You and dad could not decipher what I was going through and maybe I should not blame you for that. My one and only brother came very close to understanding what I was passing through but it was too much for his young mind to comprehend.

Mum, I know that you and dad loved me and did everything you could to prove that to me but I was not feeling loved. You provided for me more than I even wanted, took me to places that most of my mates have not even heard of, yet despite all these my heart was longing for love. I needed someone who would love me for who I was. I needed someone who could reach to the depth of my soul and feel the vacuum there.

The material provisions you spoiled me with could not do that. And I was alone all the while, despite the fact that we laughed together and had gist as a family. Then came the last straw that broke the camel’s back.

Your brother, Uncle Tony who came to live with us, made me to believe that he knew exactly what my soul was longing for – companionship. He chose to stay with me when you and dad were too busy to notice my loneliness. He tried to keep me company when I needed someone to talk to but had only gadgets and teddy bears as my company. I was fooled to trust him and he hacked into my foolishness. And he did it perfectly and deeply.

Mum, your brother raped me and used me as sex toy for three whole years. I expected you or dad to notice but none of you did. When he left our house last year I was shattered because I have grown to fill the void of your presence with his dirty deeds. I couldn’t complain because I was afraid to lose him, but when he eventually left for Canada the magnitude of the emptiness in me became too heavy for me to carry.
I struggled to forget those experiences but I could not. My grades dropped in the school and you and dad quickly arranged for a home lesson teacher.

Mum, that singular act instead of helping me fueled what is about to happen to me a few minutes from now. The home lesson teacher you brought so much reminded me of Uncle Tony and, on several occasions, I felt like grabbing him and making him to fill the gap that Tony’s absence created in me. Mum, I had to do this because I was lonely.

Did you ever imagine what I was doing in my room all the time I stayed there alone? Couldn’t you for once have gone out of your way to just spend some time with me so that we could talk?
There are many things I would have liked to tell you but I don’t want to add to your pain so let those other torments be buried with this undignified body of mine.
Please make sure that my brother David doesn’t get to the point where I am now.

Also tell your friends and colleagues who have children to find out what is happening with their beloved kids before it gets too late. Many of the things parents do in the name of showing love are not what we the younger ones need. I would have gone, long hours before you will get to read this note.

But one cheering thing is that David is still there with you. Transfer the love you had for me to him. My bank details and the passwords to my phones and laptops are all in the piece of paper I dropped in the drawer of your dressing table.
I miss you and it pains to empty the content of this bottle in my hand into my mouth but I am constrained to do it all the same. Tell dad and David that I love them.

Tell our pastor that I will miss his sermons and long prayers. Tell my friends not to envy me.
Goodbye mum.”

That was the suicide note a 15 year old girl dropped for her mother before taking her own life. Issues from the story:

• What will you do if your child writes this type of note to you? God forbid right! I know that will be your answer.

• Do you really know your child? Do you know what is happening with and around them?

• Are you sure your children feel and accept your love for them?

• Many suicide stories on the pages of the media. Many more may still come.

• May your child and mine not be among them, in Jesus name.

• Get to know your children better – their personality, love language, device ways of communicating with them according to their ages and peculiar situations, the kind of social life that interests each of them and many more…

May God guide all parents through these…..
