One wonderful morning in February, after having a beautiful time in devotion and talking to the Lord, I had an interesting thought. I said to the Holy Spirit: “wow, Holy Spirit, I wonder how it would be like if you had a university. What would the courses be like? What would the classes be? How would the students look and what would be the school culture?”

To crown it all, I said “Holy Spirit, please teach me something.” True to God, everytime I’ve said that prayer, there’s been a major event in my life that has caused a huge shift or change.

Most recently, on one of my “Holy Spirit please teach me something days,” I asked the Lord to build my capacity and increase my productivity. I told Him I wanted to perform at 3X my current output level, and that I wanted my hours to count for more.

Lovers of truth,
love the truth.
The truth loves
those who keep it.
Loves of truth;
will you fight?
For your crown?
For the truth?
The one truth?

Taken away from this world.

I hear they all ask;
I hear they say.
“why am I here?”
“what is my purpose”

They look for truth,
in all the wrong places.
Truth isn’t found.
They look in the world.

Look beyond,
this world holds no truth.
This world has only lied;
The world.

We, the chosen few,
run away from the world.

In these verses and many others there is a preeminence given to the heart. The heart actually reigns above understanding or intellect. Just as with our “bowels,” I think that the word “heart” goes beyond metaphor. The reason these terms and “metaphors” exist is because they capture an experience- we feel things in our chest and gut. But I want to spend some time on the notion of heart because there is so much truth to be mined here. So much of our lives and relationships become rote exercises, autopilot experiences, and right or wrong checklists that…

As you meditate on Bible promises that proclaim God’s truth over your life, you are already beginning to win the battle for your mind. It’s not a coincidence that Jesus was crucified on Golgotha, which actually means “Place of a Skull” (Matt. 27:33). Your breakthrough has to begin in your mind first.

This battle for your mind is not waged externally. Our weapons in this battle are not physical or tangible. Our weapons are the weapons of right believing and they are mighty in God for pulling down strongholds that have kept us bound. These are strongholds that can only be utterly torn down by rightly believing in the truth of God’s Word.

The devil can only sow wrong thoughts in your mind but he cannot control what you believe! When you start to believe right, every lie and wrong thought will melt away like butter on a hot, sunny…

Your shadow becomes very small and holds no particular shape at around noon and Simon was thinking about this as he threw rocks into the sea. Then again, he thought. Your shadow holds no particular shape anyway.  There was a green bottle floating next to a rock which he intended smash. He turned to his friend.

Bible prophecy is not limited to the days in which they were spoken. It is not limited because the words written in it came from an infinite Being who is not confined by the boundaries of time.

God is not limited by time, neither is His word.The same word which performed in Genesis performs today – there is power in the word of God. This power is not trapped in an ancient book which is irrelevant for the present time. In fact, the word of God is more relevant now than it ever has been, making it the more necessary for us to tap into what it carries.
