This is a poem that I wrote to heal our hearts against the COVID and the death of George Floyd who left our world because of Police Brutality. No he wasn’t the only one that lost their lives. There were many more that lost their lives to either COVID or at the deadly hands of white cops, or white civilians. I pray that this poem will soothe your souls and give you peace. It was after my 11am service, we had a quest preacher come in for my anniversary. We were in my office sharing and he says to me to ask God to show me the spirit that is over my area. He began to explain that when Pastors get into building projects and things keep coming against it, stopping, it may be the spirit that is over the region. It took 8 years and a lot of effort but I know live in America once again…Idaho to be exact. What a difference a state makes.

Conservatives and 2nd Amendment supporters are the majority. No gangs, bums, or tweekers. Not being forced to wear a face diaper due to a Scamdemic. We are free to enter establishments sans mask. In a world with so much war & turmoil it is only natural in the flesh to sense fear, hopelessness & despair BUT Good News is here!!
Our enemy does seek to kill, steal and destroy (that must be the theme/fight song to a religion that is trying to currently take over the world) however we can fight that fear with fear!!  Here’s what my Bible reading said today:

I have been feeling so lonely, so vulnerable,  so slow in my thinking, so desperate. I feel abandoned. I am an orphan among other orphans. I am a widow among millions others, I am a less privileged and people judge me that I am lazy. I am to do something but I lake means. How to go about alone? where to start from. I am so scared of how things are happening, of how people have become butchers of their fellow human beings.  I cry day and night for my loved ones who have left this world. I see a lot injustice in the world. A 14 years old girl is just been shot because men have found that she is a peace activist. I grew up in a very Conservative Baptist Church. They were fundamental in their Christian doctrine and mixed into that doctrine many added “rules.” For example: One rule was that no guitars could be used in worship services because rock bands use guitars! They didn’t see the irony that rock bands also used organs. Another rule you’ve probably heard of is that no card playing was allowed. (Perhaps the reasoning was that the cards had demonic symbols or something). When our high school youth group would go to Denver for a YFC rally they kept the lights on in the bus even though we were good kids. These are just a few examples.

A lot of people have posted on social media several bible verses during the COVID-19, but the one scripture that comes to mine is for the church. Where is the church? As the body of Christ we need to boldly come into the thrown room and pray morning , noon, and night for the lord to heal our land.

2 Chronicles 7:14

The myriad of eschatological scenarios that are afloat today can be confusing to even the most diligent of inquirers.  We observe the current flow of events, prayerfully inquire as to how these events will play through, search the scriptures which seem to identify the events, and cautiously consider the observations of other like minded saints. Once in awhile, my life lines up in such a way, I can’t help but wonder what is going on. Don’t get me wrong. The Lord often answers my prayers, but to say there isn’t a regular amount of begging, well….That just wouldn’t be true.

Ever since Chef and I broke up, I’ve found myself without 3 things that really made a huge impact on my life:

1. A legal, reliable car
2. An income that could pay all the bills and still leave a little for us to be able to eat
3. A safe, clean home

I believe we can all agree that Apostle Paul said it best “ I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do”.  Later in the passage he says “Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me”.

We all have the best intentions in mind but often times we find ourselves falling short of the very thing we sent up to God in prayer. We find ourselves forgetting what we told God we would not do in prayer. We often find ourselves calling out to Jesus for help.
