I took a few days off. I’d not felt as continuing with the Sunday Series and now I’m off to training in some computer system I could hardly care about. Maybe I’d continue working on Sunday Series sometime next week.
A tiny, unidentifiable bug was making its way on my laptop surface. Before I had to think much about it, my pointer finger crushed it, clearing the invader off! I would not hurry to tell my Buddhist friend about it, who delights in all insects, as well wild rodents, she reassured me. But, in contrast to that bug, I was empowered. It felt quite pleasant. I was in charge. Sometimes in life, we desire to have control, if not over politicians or celebrities, but at least, the bugs, for mercy sake. That invaluable, ignorant creature could not possibly accomplish anything whatever for me. It was quite worthless. What is a conclusion!

Yesterday he heard his name called in Heaven and left our earthly home for his Heavenly home. He was the love of my life and we were married for 48 wonderful years. Years ago, when I left a bad job situation, it took me a while to process through all the emotions and anger, and I refer to this process as “Job Detox.” That is not to take away from the seriousness of drug and alcohol detox. Just terminology to acknowledge that sometimes it takes you a minute to find yourself again after leaving a job.
I started my most recent job a year and a half ago, after being out of the work force for a decade due to many reasons, cancer and family being among them. I had hoped to go back into Computer Programming and had taken some up-to-date programming classes, but that was not the door that opened.

New York City is one of 57 independent jurisdictions in the country that is responsible for birth registration. Since 1971, Article 207, section 207.05 of the Health Code has authorized the issuance of new birth certificates for transgender persons. This section of the Health Code has not been amended in 43 years. Currently, to change sex on a birth certificate, the following are required:
- Court-ordered name change
- Proof of convertive surgery, generally interpreted as genital surgery, with:
- Surgical operative report; and
- Post-operative exam by physician specifying change of sex was completed
although still a taboo & damnation in the Church.
A good illustration from the book of Acts is the account regarding Cornelius, a devout and God-fearing Gentile who did not know Jesus Christ. God sent an angel to him in a vision saying that his “prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God.” Nonetheless, God instructed Cornelius to send for the apostle Peter whom God at that time (also through a vision) was commanding to go to Cornelius and preach to him the message of salvation regarding Jesus Christ.

Happy Sol’s Day!!!
It been a long time, but long overdue. Here I am writing. This year has been very hard from “The Grey” point of view. I have been existing without any real purpose and I am finally getting sick of it. The boredom and loneliness have been pretty much the cause of me shelling up. COVID be damned because I still could do a lot of things right now – writing among them.
It’s the whole damn situation again that bothers me.
I miss dreaming of a better future and then going out and achieving it. I haven’t achieved anything I really wanted this year and it sucks. I am not sure what is causing what at this point – Is the Grey causing my lack of ambition or is it the other way around. All I know is it is a vicious cycle for me.
