God doesn’t want us to live in fear of others. As a believer, you can defeat fear!

Psalms_23-4-1: Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. “Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome….”

Nehemiah 4:14

Few emotions are as powerful as fear. It can cause us to do things we wouldn’t do under normal circumstances, and it can keep us from doing things we ought to do.

Nehemiah and his fellow wall builders in Jerusalem were being threatened with death. Talk about something to fill you with fear! A death threat would certainly get my attention.
