One day God will call us forth from the dead, and we will rise again! Praise God! Praise God! Praise God! All of our suffering will be over, and God Himself “‘will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.’ He who was seated on the throne said . . . , ‘Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true'” (Rev. 21:4-5, NIV).

“But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.” Malachi 4:2
It was few weeks ago that the sun of year 2013 appeared with the Sun of righteousness Himself standing by it. The message of the Sun sent to us through His representative, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, at the very beginning, has given us the assurance that, as we journey towards the Sun of Signs and Wonders, very soon, in His wonderful ways, either as a Nation, family, or an individual, the shadow of our burdens will be cast behind us.
Naturally speaking, it is noted that the same sun from above that solidifies the clay melts the snow! Hence the manifestation of Signs…
1 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. 2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. 3 And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for mortar. 4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
5 And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. 6 And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language…
1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will show thee: 2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran. 5 And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother’s son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran…
1 And Abram went up out of Egypt, he, and his wife, and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the south. 2 And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold. 3 And he went on his journeys from the south even to Bethel, unto the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and Hai; 4 Unto the place of the altar, which he had made there at the first: and there Abram called on the name of the LORD.
5 And Lot also, which went with Abram, had flocks, and herds, and tents. 6 And the land was not able to bear them, that they might dwell together: for their substance was great, so that they could not dwell together. 7 And there was a strife between the herdmen of Abram’s…
1 And it came to pass in the days of Amraphel king of Shinar, Arioch king of Ellasar, Chedorlaomerking of Elam, and Tidal king of nations; 2That these made war with Bera king of Sodom, and with Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, and Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela, which is Zoar. 3 All these were joined together in the vale of Siddim, which is the salt sea. 4 Twelve years they served Chedorlaomer, and in the thirteenth year they rebelled. 5 And in the fourteenth year came Chedorlaomer, and the kings that were with him, and smote the Rephaims in Ashteroth Karnaim, and the Zuzims in Ham, and the Emims in Shaveh Kiriathaim, 6 And the Horites in their mount Seir, unto Elparan, which is by the wilderness. 7 And they…

1 After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.
2 And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus? 3 And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir. 4 And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. 5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now…
1 Now Sarai Abram’s wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar. 2 And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai. 3 And Sarai Abram’s wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife.
4 And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes. 5 And Sarai said unto Abram, My wrong be upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she…

Genesis 17. Circumcision, The Sign Of God’s Covenant
1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. 2 And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly. 3 And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,
4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. 5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. 6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.

Genesis 18. A Son Is Promised To Abraham
1 And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; 2 And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, 3 And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant: 4 Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree: 5 And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye…

1 And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground; 2 And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant’s house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night. 3 And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they…

Prayer. What Is Prayer? Prayer Is Simply A Conversation With God. Prayer Is Telling God Our Feelings, Complaints And Needs. And Listening To His Responses. A Family Chat, Between Father And His Children.
The essence of Prayer cannot be overemphasized hence the Bible admonishes us in
Luke 18:1 KJV
“And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;”. Also in
1 Thessalonians 5:17 KJV
“Pray without ceasing.”.
The creator of Heaven and Earth and all that consists have everything in place before bringing His people to dwell here. God makes no mistakes. The human nature always resist to pray to God, saying God knows everything and all that we might need at every point in time! Yes God is Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient. The essence of prayer is more than asking for bread and complaining to God hence the Bible tells us in
Matthew 4:4 KJV
“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”
We don’t just pray to receive from God but to maintain fellowship with God. We pray to receive information that helps us in carrying out daily and every other activities that pertains to our wellbeing. When we pray, we receive information that helps us solve problems that are beyond human capability. When we pray, we receive information on the mind of God concerning every situation that we might be running helter skelter to know from human point of view.
Prayer in general should be seen as the channel through which we communicate with God and God to us. Without communication especially with God, we will be completely ineffective, inefficient in all that we do or planning to do. Praying might prove to be a daunting task for a good number of people, but the rewards are always astronomical if done with Faith, Patience and Perseverance.
There is no one who can claim exhaustive knowledge about prayer. The knowledge about prayer is being gained as one who practice it continuously follow its course and as he/she does that, the GOD expounds more to any one that follows diligently. As far as Heaven and Earth is concern, no living being can claim absolute knowledge of prayer, as that belongs to God Almighty Alone.
God bless you all.
Thank You Jesus.

As Humans We Are Capable Of Doing Some Shameful Things. And If We Look Back Over Our Lives We Can Probably See A Few Things We Are Ashamed Of And We Wish We Had Never Done. DO NOT LOOK BACK Child Of God. If We Ever Plan To Fulfill Our God’s Given Purpose, We Must Cease To Look Back, Because The Past Really Has Nothing To Do With Where God Wants To Take Us.Today Is The Day We Must Throw Off The Old Garments Of Guilt And Shame That Remind Us Of The Past And Press Forward To A Whole New Life In Christ.
Philippians 3: 13-16
Father We Thank You This Morning
We Bless And Honour Your Holy Name. We Stand In Awe Of You As We Always Do And Ask Oh Lord That You Have Regard Unto Our Prayers And Supplications And Let Our Cry Come Up To You.
As We Look To You This Morning We Pray That Our Past Will Not Hinder Our Future In The Name Of Jesus. Amen.
As humans we are capable of doing some shameful things. And if we look back over our lives we can probably see a few things we’re ashamed of and we wish we had never done. Or maybe it’s not what we have done, but what someone has done to us that has left us feeling bad about ourselves. But the Word of God tells us if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed; behold, all things have become new (see 2 Cor. 5:17). That means we are not the person we used to be prior to salvation. We may live in the same bodies, and our minds need to be renewed day by day, but our spirits have been recreated in Christ Jesus. And His blood has washed us whiter than snow. So now that we have a new beginning and a fresh start, why do we look back and identify with our past mistakes and failures?
If we’re not beating ourselves up, other people are reminding us of our past. And if people aren’t reminding us, the accuser of the brethren constantly whispers to us that we are no good. But what has God said about us?
That’s all that really matters. Throughout scripture we are reminded to forget about the past. And if we ever plan to fulfill our God-given purpose, we must cease to look back, because the past really has nothing to do with where God wants to take us.
In Genesis 12:1-2, the Lord told Abram to get out of his country, away from his family and from his father’s house, and go to a land that He would show him. God wanted Abram to look ahead to the new life that He had in store for Him. The blessing was waiting in the new place God was calling Him to. This is why Satan fights to keep us tied to our past. He knows we will never be who we are destined to be, and we will never do what we are purposed to do if we live in the past.
The apostle Paul understood the importance of walking in the newness of life in Christ. He had a lot in his past , but he didn’t let it deter him from his destiny. If he had continued to associate himself with his past mistakes, he would never bave been able to write under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and we would not be blessed by the bulk of the New Testament that was written by him. In his letter to the church at Philippi he wrote this:
“Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead. I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13
Forgetting the past, and reaching for what’s ahead is vital to our future. If we ever expect to shine for God and touch the world with our gifts, talents, and ability, we have to be determined to let bygones be bygones.
REMEMBER TO:
Forgive yourself for past mistakes and failures.
Forgive those who have wronged you.
When Satan reminds you of the past, speak God’s Word out loud over yourself and he will flee from you.
Pray and ask God to reveal His plan and purpose for your life.
Take a step of faith towards your future, and keep on stepping as the Holy Spirit leads you.
Surround yourself with people who believe in you, and will speak great things over your life.
“Behold the former things have come to pass, and new thing I declare; Before they spring forth I tell you of them.” Isaiah 42:9
Even as the world around us grows darker, our future in Christ is just getting brighter and brighter. God is about to do something new and fresh in the lives of His people. Now is the time for us to live purposeful lives. Now is the time for us to begin to do what we are destined to do for God. Now is the time for us to reach the world with what we have to offer. Today is the day we must throw off the old garments of guilt and shame that remind us of the past and press forward to a whole new life in christ.
PRAYER POINTS:
Dear Lord we come to You sincerely with a desire to be free from our past in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Lord please give us the grace to overcome past mistakes, failures and rejections, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
We break every stronghold set up by the devil to use our past to destroy us and our future, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
We refuse to look back like Lot’s wife in Jesus name. Amen.
We cast down every imagination, thought and every high thing from our past that is trying to exalt itself, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
We receive the power to move forward in all areas of our lives from today, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ. 2 Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you. 3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ isGod. 4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. 5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. 6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven…
1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. 2 Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led. 3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. 4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another…
1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7 Beareth all things, believeth…
1 Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy. 2 For he that speaketh in an unknowntongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. 3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. 4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church. 5 I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.
6 Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to…
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: 6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. 7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all…
1 In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live. 2 Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, 3 And said, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. 4 Then came the word of the LORD to Isaiah, saying, 5 Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years. 6…
