God Is Good To You, He Loves You!

Psalm 73:1 says:

“Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.”

We understand that God desires to be good to us.

James 1:17 says:

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”

God gives us a pure heart. He washes away our sins through the blood of His Son Jesus Christ, and He gives us His Word so that we may stay free from sin and transgression. He leads us into the paths of His Word and of righteousness for His Name’s sake. In other words, when this verse says God is good to Israel, to everyone who is of a clean heart, it simply means that God sent His Son to…

The righteousness which is by faith

The righteousness which is by faith

“………Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness” (Romans 4:3)

The righteousness of the Law of Moses was based on works. However, the righteousness which is by the faith of Jesus Christ was credited to your account when you were born again; this righteousness excludes works. In other words, it’s not based on the works of the Law or your good actions. It’s not based on how good and nice you’ve been, but on faith. It has nothing to do with what you did and what you didn’t do, for it’s the result of what Christ has done.

Sadly, some Christians are still trying to be righteous, holy, and pleasing to God! They are struggling to be what they already are. They’re trying to possess what God already said belongs to them. The Bible says, “Therefore being justified…

Be encouraged today!

How Much More, God?

This might be what you are feeling, or have felt lately, especially when it comes to the talk of high gas prices or more economic challenges!  Or maybe that is the question you have been asking for the trials you are facing or the things you are believing for: “How much more, God?!?”

I want you to be encouraged today to see this phrase “how much more” from a different perspective. Rather than “how much more can we take?” as if life’s challenges are so great that we can’t take any more of what we are facing, I want you to see that Jesus said “how much more” is God’s delight and desire in blessing you, and not just a question of frustration or hopelessness!

This is why we don’t need to look at the trial, sickness or challenge…

And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
Mark 13:37
When Jesus was asked about what would happen at the end of time, He
talked about being ready and gave examples of some people who were
ready and some who weren’t. Those who were ready were the Overcomers in
the churches. Just because you are saved doesn’t mean that you will be
in the rapture of the church. The cold, the lukewarm, those who have
lost their first love and are not producing for Christ, and those who are
caught up with the things of the world won’t automatically qualify for
the rapture. They are backslidden. This is a hard concept for people
who have been taught that if they have once been saved they are always
saved, and that once they are…

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me” (Galatians 2:20)

Before the foundations of the earth, God saw you, knew you, and pre-ordained you unto glory. By faith, He declared you to be a success, and purposed that you’ll prosper in whatsoever you lay your hands to do.

Jesus used the man who brought a field because of the treasure in it to explain what the faith of the Son of God truly is, “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found…

Faith

He (Abraham) staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what He had promised, He was able also to perform (Romans 4:20-21).

Do not stagger!

Abraham, the Bible says, was strong in faith; he was fully persuaded at the promise of God. You see, strong faith doesn’t stagger at the promise of God; it maintains confession in the face of overwhelming opposition.

I was privileged to read the testimony of a minister who had applied to a certain organization for a job. The personnel officer in charge said to her, “Sorry, the interview has been conducted and the management already selected the suitable candidate for the job.” “No!” the minister replied. “When I was praying, God told me I was…

God hears your cries no matter how many times you mess up. He is rich in mercy

Read: Psalm 147:3

Have you ever done something for your children when you know they didn’t deserve it, but you did it anyway? Why? Because you love them.

Take for example the children of Israel. They were in bondage. And they began to cry out, and God heard their cry. He remembered His covenant, and sent Moses to deliver them out of that bondage. It wasn’t long after God delivered them out of Egypt, that they were breaking covenant again. They were rebellious. They were disobedient. That same curse came on them, and they were in bondage again. As a matter of fact, most of their…

The Secret To A Dynamic Christian Life!

When you face challenges, get into your closet and speak in tongues!

For he that speaks in an unknown tongue speaks not unto men, but unto God: for no man understands him; howbeit in the spirit he speaks mysteries (1 Corinthians 14:2)

Sometimes when you’re speaking in other tongues, you’re not only talking to God, you’re also issuing instructions to angels. Notice that the Apostle Paul didn’t say when you speak in tongues, no angel understands, but that no man understands. You’re speaking mysteries to God – words which cannot be uttered in articulated language, hence cannot be understood by the natural mind.

That’s what the Apostle Paul refers to as the tongues of angels. At that points, you’re talking to angels; you’re speaking in the realm of the spirit. For example, maybe you misplaced something and don’t seem to…

Life Of Praise And Thanksgiving

Life of praise and thanksgiving

“And being not weak in faith, he (Abraham) considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God (Romans 4:19-20)

True Christianity is a supernatural life of faith in God’s Word. When you’re operating by the principles of faith, you’ll always be giving glory to God. You’ll always be thankful and grateful to Him, not for what you expect Him to do, but for all He’s already done, because you’ve come to understand that there’s absolutely nothing that He hasn’t done for you yet. This understanding makes your life that of praise and thanksgiving; you glorify God every day, everywhere and at all times.

In your life, you must learn how…

Colossians 1:16 (NKJV)

“For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.”
Everything begins with God. You were made by Him, you did not create yourself and until you understand that, life will never make sense. If you want to discover your purpose in life, don’t turn to the world for an answer, but to God.

Luke 7:13-14, “And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not, And he came and touched the bier: and they that bear him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.”

LUKE 7:11-17

This example of the widow’s son being raised from the dead is often used to demonstrate that Jesus produced many miracles without any faith from those receiving the miracle, but by His faith alone. However, the prayer in Mark 6:5-6 shows that Jesus could not (nor would not) do many mighty works in His home town because of the people’s unbelief. Many scriptures reveal that faith must be present to receive…

As a Christian, you are in a different kingdom now. God’s kingdom is completely different from everything in the kingdom of the world. In this kingdom, in order to get, you must give (your talents, time, resources, ect).
The instruction you choose to obey determines the future you will create. God won’t force you to give but He will bless you when you do. It doesn’t make sense to trust your soul to God and not your talents, gifts, time and resources.
Jesus gave numerous instructions on what to do with your resources and we ignore them at our peril. Everything God instructs you to do is…

Sermon By Pastor E A Adeboye RCCG 60th Annual RCCG Convention.  Come Up Higher – THAT I MAY KNOW HIM

Topic: THAT I MAY KNOW HIM

Text: Philippians 3 v 7- 11

Paul said I want to know Him. Knowledge is power and ignorance is

destruction. The word of God says my people are destroyed for lack

of knowledge. When Paul who is an apostle says he wants to know Jesus,

where do you stand?

There are many aspects to the life and ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ;

there is the aspect of Him as the Saviour, there is the aspect of Him

as the Healer and there is the aspect of Him as the Deliverer.

What aspect of Him did Paul wants to know? I think he is interested in the

aspect of Jesus Christ as the Truth. He wanted to know more about the

truth.

So we…

“Anyone who does not carry his cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.”

Luke 14:27, NIV

Imagine what it would have been like to be Simon, and to have carried the Cross of Christ while following Him up Calvary.

What would it have been like to have shared in the humiliation of rejection as He was cast out of the city?

What would it have been like to have felt the sticky warmth of His blood from the Cross on your skin?

What would it have been like to have felt the encroaching horror as the place of execution neared?

What would it have been like to have looked up through the sweat that trickled down your…

Live Forever In Him

The Transfiguration Lodovico Carracci 1594

LIVE FOREVER IN HIM

John 11:26 “And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?”

JOHN 11:26

Some people have interpreted this as saying that it is possible to never die. Therefore, there are people today who are believing that they will live physically until the second coming of Jesus, even if that is thousands of years away. Although it is understandable how someone could interpret this verse in that manner, it is very doubtful that this is what Jesus truly meant.

First, a doctrine as profound as this would certainly be well documented in other scriptures. Other scriptures may sometimes be quoted as supporting this claim but they would not lead a person to this conclusion by themselves.

There would already have to be a prejudice in favor of this stand within a person to lead him to interpret these scriptures in this…

Be Inspired To Serve

“A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent”(Proverbs 28:20)

No matter the job or business you do, don’t let your utmost motivation stem from how much money you desire to make. Rather, be motivated by the dream of service; be inspired to serve! The Bible says a faithful man shall abound with blessings; that means he’ll surely prosper. A faithful man is a man that serves. If you’re a wife, mother, grandmother, politicians, student, civil servant, civil right leader, policeman, business man or business woman, let serving people be your dream. Become people and service – conscious.

God is more mindful and concerned about people than anything else. So, when you’re concerned about serving people through your work, God will be concerned about your success and prosperity…

The one God loves has to grapple with certain tough challenges. As the last born of my mother, I was her favourite. While other children were playing, she would compel me to sit and read my books. Sometimes, I would remind her that all the other children were playing, but she would reply that all the others were not her business. I thought she was too strict with me but today, I have reasons to thank God for my strict mother. Ephesians 5:1-7 says if you are one of God’s own, you should not indulge in sins like fornication, uncleanness…

Fellowshipping In Love

Acts 19:23

“And about that time there arose a great commotion about the Way.”
NKJV

The people of Ephesus either loved Paul or hated Paul. Why? Paul had a holy restlessness, a stirring in his heart that drove him to great lengths to share the Gospel message. It is important we understand that Christianity is not just about getting along with everybody. All of us are individually gifted and crafted for a unique purpose, but it doesn’t end there. If we do not use our gifts, it profits no one. In the same way, if our relationship with one another does not transform us, it’s not much of a relationship. Ministry changes people. It puts people together in situations that are often uncomfortable and stretches us in ways that we never thought possible. It causes us to drop our masks and be…
