God is in our midst.

Zephaniah 3:17 “The Lord your God in your midst, the Mighty One will save. He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”

This goes along with Heb 13:5 “….I will never leave you nor forsake you”, God is in your midst. He is with you every step you take! He is with you in all that you do, you are never alone. He is your friend, comforter and helper in time of need. Call on Him today, in whatever circumstance you find yourself in, He is right there. He will rejoice with you in victories won and will be your strength in victories still to be won.

May Our God The Almighty prosper Nigeria and Israel and defend us from all our enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

We are gods

And the LORD said unto Moses, see, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh; and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.

Exodus 7:1

Read: Exodus 7:1-2

God’s plan for us is that we operate as gods on the earth. Our Lord Jesus Christ attested to this in John 10:34:

Jesus answered them, is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

Why then do we not see a manifestation of this in the life of many believers? What accounts for this disconnect is the absence or presence of the glory of God! if the glory of God is present in your life, the empowered inner man, created in the likeness of God that is buried in you will spring forth and you will occupy your place of dominion. But if the glory of God is…

God Never Gives Up On Us

One day in 1988, Samuel and Danielle sent their young son, Armand, off to school. Hours later, a powerful earthquake rocked the area. People were trapped under flattened buildings. Kissing his wife, Samuel grabbed his coat and headed for the school. What he saw brought tears to his eyes. Armand’s school was a pile of debris.

Where Armand’s classroom used to be, Samuel began pulling a broken beam off the pile. He picked up a rock and put it to the side, then another, and another. One of the parents looking on asked, “What are you doing?”

“Digging for my son,” Samuel answered.

The man exclaimed…

Resurrection of Christ

Do not be afraid; only believe. Just Trust!

As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not be afraid; only believe.” Mark 5:36

Like a little child, we often complain how scary it is to walk where we can’t see. We’ve reason to be cautious. We have absolutely no vision beyond the present.

Jairus was the senior religious leader in the synagogue, the best-known citizen in town! But when he approaches Jesus, he’s a blind man begging for a gift.

“My daughter’s dying. Please come! Put your hands on her so she’ll be healed and live!”

Before Jairus gets very far, he’s interrupted by those who tell him “Your daughter is dead. There’s no need to bother the teacher anymore.” But Mark 5:36 says,
“But Jesus paid no attention to what they said.” I love that line! Jesus…

No Other Gods

There are dozens of “little gods” in disguise in our lives, even if we are Christians, worshipping the one true God.

People’s opinions, our money, appearance, family, friends or entertainment can become other gods we put before God. The devil seeks to deceive us by trying to make us believe that having other gods is limited to worship of another deity instead of God.

God would not see fit to warn us about putting other gods before Him if there were no other gods to be worried about. Nor would He tell us, as He does in Deuteronomy 10:17, that He is the “God of gods and Lord of lords

SINGLENESS OF VISION

Jesus is speaking of spiritual vision. If we keep our attention (eye) single upon Jesus, the Word, then all that we will be filled with is the light of His Word (Jn. 1:1-14; Ps. 119:105). The key to victory is this singleness of purpose (Phil. 3:13). The strength of the laser lies in the fact that all of the light is concentrated on one single point. Likewise, the strength of the Christian lies in how single his or her vision is upon Jesus, “the author and finisher of our faith.” (Heb. 12:1-3)

Bringing About God‘s Will

Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God. And behold, thou
shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call
his name Jesus. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of
the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his
father David.

Luke 1:30-32

This is how the Word brought forth the ministry of Jesus, and this is
how God’s Word can bring forth God’s will in your life. This is God’s
plan for you too. He is still looking for men and women who are willing
to speak His Word into the earth, who are willing to let Him relate to
the world of man through their bodies and see His will be done on
earth as it is in heaven.

The Pain of Betrayal

Jesus said to him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?”

Luke 22:48, NKJV

Judas was one of Jesus’ very closest friends. He had been handpicked to be a disciple. He had been given the special responsibility of being treasurer for the entire band of disciples – a responsibility he had enjoyed as it gave him access to personal petty cash as well as prestige in the eyes of others. Yet it was this disciple who betrayed his Lord and Friend with a kiss! And although Jesus clearly knew the betrayal was coming, it was still a knifelike stab to His heart.

Have you ever been betrayed . . .

By a spouse who has taken a secret lover?

By a sibling who has stolen your inheritance?

By a co-worker who has taken the credit for a job you did?

If…

Guide me in Your truth, and teach me, my God, my Saviour.

Psalm 25:5

“It’s not fair,” we say. It’s not fair that I was born in poverty or that I sing so poorly or that I run so slowly. But the scales of life were forever tipped on the side of fairness when God planted a tree in the Garden of Eden. All complaints were silenced when Adam and his descendants were given free will, the freedom to make whatever eternal choice we desire. Any injustice in this life is offset by the honour of choosing our destiny in the next.

Give Your Life Away

Acts 21:12-13

“Now when we heard these things, both we and those from that place pleaded with him not to go up to Jerusalem. Then Paul answered, “What do you mean by weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”
NKJV

Sometimes we say, “I would be willing to die for the Lord.” If you say that and really mean it, then that’s awesome. But are you willing to live for the Lord?

Paul wrote,

“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”

Christ The Solid Foundation

Are you a wise builder for the Kingdom?

1 Corinthians 3:11 “For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”

Jesus is the foundation of the building, and we are to build on His foundation. We need to take heed of how and with what we build, because on The Day, it will be judged by fire. If we build wisely, it will remain, but if not it will be consumed by fire and it will show as works of the flesh and not of God. Are you a wise builder for the Kingdom? Read 1 Cor 3:5-17

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment

Matthew 22:37-38

READ:Matthew 22:34-40

What is the greatest thing in sports? Is it championships? Records? Honours? In the Palestra, the University of Pennsylvania basketball arena, a plaque offers a different perspective on the greatest thing in sports. It reads: “To win the game is great. To play the game is greater. But to love the game is the greatest of all.” This is a refreshing reminder that sports are, after all, just the games we played with joy as kids.

A religious leader once asked Jesus about greatness: “Which is the great commandment?” (Matt. 22:36). Jesus responded by challenging that leader to love—love God and love others. Jesus said, “‘You shall love the…

Rapture

Behold He comes with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they
also which pierced him: and all kindred of the earth shall wail
because of him. Even so! Amen!

Revelation 1:7.

The word rapture is not in scripture, but the meaning of the term is
clearly there-it means “taken up.” There are seven raptures in the
Scripture:
Enos was taken up. (Genesis 5:21-23 and Hebrews 11:5-6)
Elijah was taken up. (2 Kings 2:1, 11)
The Lord Jesus was taken up. This passage tells you that He is
coming back the same way He was taken up. (Acts 1:9-11)

The true church will be taken up at the end of what we call the
church age before the seven-year period of tribulation. (1
Thessalonians 4:13-18)
There will be a mid-tribulation rapture of those who did not go up
in the first rapture of the church but were…

Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labour and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God

Table set for Shabbat with challah and wine.

Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labour and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God.
Exodus 20:8-10

In Mark 2:27 Jesus said, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.” We live in a generation that works almost constantly, but God in His compassion knew that we needed to rest. He also knew that it would be increasingly difficult for us to slow down and spend time with Him with the many distractions of the world pressing in on us.

The Sabbath commandment is a wonderful example of the timeless truths that God handed down to establish walls of protection around our lives and to help us understand how best to interact with others and with Him.

God took centuries to boil the commandments down to “LOVE” because we first had…

Fans rooting for the competition? Cheerleaders switching loyalties? What is this?

Kris Hogan skippers a successful Christian high school football program. He has 70 players, 11 coaches, and parents who wouldn’t miss a game! Their upcoming opponent, Gainesville State School was just the opposite. Parents don’t watch them play, but 12 uniformed officers do! Gainesville is a maximum security correctional facility. With no hope of winning, they’d only scored two touchdowns all year.

The whole situation didn’t seem fair. So Coach Hogan asked the fans to step across the field for one night, to cheer for the other side. More than 200 volunteered, including parents and cheerleaders!…
