Christ The Power Of God, And The Wisdom Of God

I Corinthians 1:23-24, “But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.”

Jesus is the Wonderful Counsellor because He is the power and wisdom of God. Jesus is the one who can give us the power to help us overcome all of life’s problems and the wisdom to know how to deal with them when we fall into a snare or a trap or a pit.

The counsellors in the natural realm can help us with problems but they can only do so much, they can only go so far. By contrast, Jesus, the Wonderful Counsellor, has the ability to help us deal with the root cause of our problem. As Hebrew…
