I have discovered that everyone wants to love God. At least, everyone wants to show God that they love him. Oftentimes, people have asked me, how do I know if I love God? The answer is simple.

In 1 John 14:15, the Bible says, “If you love me, keep my commandments”. That is very direct and simple enough to understand. If you say you love God, just do what He says. In verse 21 of the same chapter, the same condition is repeated. The proof of your love for God is in your willingness to obey His voice.
