Psalms_107-1: O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever
“I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth”.Psalm 34:1 (KJV)
Being thankful is not something that we should do sparingly or grudgingly. If you truly understand what God has done for you in Christ, then you will burst forth in spontaneous praise all the time. The Psalmist in our text today made the decision to bless the Lord at all times. He did not bless the Lord only when he saw a miracle manifest. No, the Lord was praised irrespective of the current situation. The Psalmist said His praise shall continually (not weekly, once in a while, or yearly) be in his mouth. Beloved, we also need to learn this lesson from the Psalmist. He has tapped into an important secret.
