HOW TO RELEASE THE POWER OF PRAYERS

TEXT:Psalm 110: 1-5.

INTRODUCTION:Prayer is as powerful as the God that answers prayer. Therefore, prayers have the following powers:

POWER OF PRAYERS:

(i)Power to resist and defeat Satan. 1 Pet 5: 8-9; Jm 4: 7.

(ii)Prayer brings the presence of Christ into manifestation, overrules Satan and his demons and rules the universe. Ps 110: 1-3.

(iii) It has power to overrule the laws of nature. Jos 10: 12; Matt 14: 27-29.

(iv)It obtains angelic assistance. Ps 103: 20; Heb.1: 14; Acts.12: 1-11; Isa 37: 36. Among other things, angels protect from dangers. 2 Kgs 6: 17; renew physical strength. Lk 22: 43; bring messages to God’s children. Matt 28: 2-7.
