REKINDLING THE PENTECOSTAL FIRE

TEXT:Acts.2: 1-11; Matthew 3: 11.

INTRODUCTION:

The Pentecostal fire, otherwise known as Holy Ghost Baptism is a deposit of a measure of God’s power on God’s children. To be able to rekindle the fire, we must know what caused the fire to go out. This is our focus today.

THE IMPORTANCE OF THE FIRE. JOHN 15: 5

We need the Holy Ghost fire for:

(i) Power to witness, to move mountain. Acts 1: 8

(ii) To be able to keep the commandment of God. Jn 14: 20-21,

(iii) Power to overcome the vices of the devil and for sign and wonders. Heb 2: 4

(iv)Liberty. Isa 61: 1-3.
