WHY SHOULD I BE INVOLVED IN MISSIONS?

TEXT:2 Corinthians 5: 17-20.

INTRODUCTION:
Should I be involved in missions? Yes. But why? Answering this question will be our focus today.

REASONS WHY I SHOULD BE INVOLVED IN MISSIONS?

(a)You should be involved because it is God’s commandment. Jn 17: 18; Mk 16: 15-20.

(b)You should be involved because the salvation of mankind is paramount in the mind of God.

(c)Because God demonstrated His search for the lost people of Nineveh who were ignorant of His salvation programme, we too should be involved. Jonah 4: 10-11.

(d)Because God is our father, we should be deeply involved in our father’s enterprises – the salvation business. Lk 15: 3-7.

(e) Because God delights in all souls, He wants them all saved.

CONCLUSION:Be involved in missions.
