Ephesians_5-25: Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it

Husband, God did not make you head of the family so that you can boss your wife around and lazy around the house. The head has the eyes, the ears, the mouth, the nose and the brain.

This means you must have a clear vision of God for the family. You must be able to hear from God from time to time to give the family direction. You must instruct the family lovingly in the way of the Lord. You must supply life and protection to the family with prayers. You must lead by example by modelling Jesus for your wife to follow. That is what it means to be the head of your wife.
