When David brought down Goliath, the women’s praise put him in trouble with the king. He was pursued through the nooks and crannies, sometimes hiding in caves. Think about it! This was a man that became a fugitive by no fault of his. He was anointed king without any contest or election, a man who decided to fight when every other person was hiding and killed Goliath without any scheming. Rather than get a special award, he became an enemy to the king. Yet he said to himself, I will bless the Lord at all times. What are you going through, child of God?
