God instituted marriage for the sole purpose of partnership, purity, procreation and fellowship. The Christian family is meant to actively witness the fulfillment of these purposes. The husband (father), wife (mother) and children must play their roles well as active witnesses of the Lord and together as the bedrock of the church of God.

As you step into this weekend today, The Lord Almighty who sits upon the earth will make you the centre of attractions for every wonderful thing He created. Remember, The Time Is Short; Therefore, Glorify God By Being Fervent And Effectual In Leading Souls To Christ. Thank You Dear Lord For Counting Me Worthy To Be A Co-Labourer With You In Saving Souls, In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation) (2 Corinthians 6:2).
More than ever before, there’s a burning passion in the hearts of God’s people to preach the Gospel, just as there’s a great hunger and yearning for salvation in the hearts of men and women around the world. The Spirit has been poured out upon all flesh. Recall the words of Jesus in Acts 1:8: “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
That’s the season we are in now! We’ve been endued with power to be effectual in soul winning. The message is available to everyone, and everyone can give their hearts to Christ, because this is the acceptable time! Jesus called it “…the acceptable year of the Lord” (Luke 4:19). And it’s aptly corroborated in our theme verse: “…now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation).” This is the day of salvation. Glory to God!
However, the acceptable time would wind up and judgement would begin. Jesus brought in the acceptable time; He’ll come back for the day of vengeance. But at the moment, we’re workers together with God in the acceptable time, bringing men and women into salvation (2 Corinthians 6:1).
Help those around you receive salvation through the power of God that works in you in this hour of His grace. Take the Gospel to the lost, hopeless, hurting and downtrodden in your world and in the regions beyond. Remember, the time is short; therefore, glorify God by being fervent and effectual in leading souls to Christ.
PRAYER
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the Gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. Thank you dear Lord for counting me worthy to be a co-labourer with you in saving souls, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Isaiah 49:7-9 (TLB) The Lord, the Redeemer and Holy One of Israel, says to the One who is despised, rejected by mankind, and kept beneath the heel of the world’s rulers: “Kings shall stand at attention when you pass by; princes shall bow low because the Lord has chosen you; he, the faithful Lord, the Holy One of Israel, chooses you.” 8-9 The Lord says, “Your request has come at a favorable time. I will keep you from harm and give you as a token and pledge to Israel, proof that I will reestablish the land of Israel and reassign it to its own people again. A Life Of Unending Progress And Success. This Is God’s Desire For All His Children. God Expects You To Be Increasingly Fruitful And Productive In All Your Endeavours; It’s Your Heritage If You’re Born Again
Philippians 3:13-14 TLB “…I am still not all I should be, but I am bringing all my energies to bear on this one thing: forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize for which God is calling us up to heaven because of what Christ Jesus did for us.”
Did you know that there are many young people mentally idling away on rocking chairs? They’ve become so accustomed to the status quo that they don’t see something better; new ideas and possibilities don’t challenge them. Don’t be that way! You’ve got to keep making progress. The Bible tells us about the man Isaac, that he “… began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous” (Genesis 26:13), meaning he kept making progress! This is God’s desire for all his children—a life of unending progress and success.
God expects you to be increasingly fruitful and productive in all your endeavours; it’s your heritage if you’re born again (Proverbs 4:18). Whatever the level you’re at currently, whether in your ministry as a Christian, or your academics or finances, think about how much more progress you can make. Irrespective of the level of influence or success you might have now, always think of the next big thing. Beyond your present achievements, what more can you do for God? How much more value can you add to your life? Don’t rest on your oars; dare for more!
Develop a desire to grow beyond your current level, and God will open your eyes to see potentials and possibilities. This doesn’t mean you should nurse inordinate ambitions; no! But be inspired by the dream of the more outstanding successes and glories that lie ahead.
Refuse to have small dreams. For some people, the moment they achieve a particular dream, they go to sleep in their minds, thinking they’ve arrived. Don’t be that way; make progress consistently. Always think of progress and advancement all the time.
