No one can confess the lordship of Jesus or decide to serve God, unless he is attracted to the Holy Spirit. When the Bible says that the word of salvation is in your mouth and heart (Romans 10), it is the Holy Spirit who puts that word in your heart. From the moment someone declares Jesus’ Lordship for salvation, it is the Holy Spirit who is already working in his life.
God, knowing that everyone needs the Holy Spirit to believe the gospel, said in our opening verse, “… It will come to pass after this that I will pour out my spirit on all mankind…” (Joel 2:28 KJV). Thus, the Spirit has been poured out over ALL HUMANITY; this is the reason anyone today can hear and receive the gospel. In Acts 2, the Bible says that a large crowd of Jews came from different nations of the world to celebrate Pentecost (Acts 2:9-12). As Peter brought them the gospel, three thousand of them gave their hearts to Christ. The next time Peter ministered, 5,000 souls were converted (Acts 4:4).
In no time, there were a multitude of believers in Jerusalem! Why? The Holy Spirit had been poured out on all mankind, as promised in Joel 2:28. This is why we preach the gospel, because we know that everyone has the capacity to accept the Word of God. The Saint- Spirit is everywhere in the world, working, convincing the world of sin and drawing men to righteousness. Glory to God! Hallelujah! Amen!

MEMORY VERSE:
Philippians 1:6– “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
Faith is all about believing. You don’t know how it will happen, but you have an assurance that it will.
MESSAGE:
Unbelief is a terrible disease of the heart which every believer in Christ must strive to overcome. The first step to overcome unbelief is to know the will of God for your life. Ignorance is the devil’s weapon to rob believers of their divine purposes. He knows that if he can keep you from knowing the will and the purposes of God for your life, he has succeeded in caging you. Lack of the knowledge of what the word of God says concerning you results in unbelief.
The devil is still in the business of working on people’s mind to weaken their faith and boost their doubts and unbelief. He will tell you that you are sick when God says “By His stripes you are healed” (Isaiah 53:5). He will say you are broke when God says, “I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in good health, even as thy soul prospereth” (3 John 2). The devil will say you are depressed when the Bible says, “The joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10b); Rejoice, again I say rejoice” (Philippians 4:4) and many more. You can overrule the devil’s lies with the word of God. Refuse to buy what he is selling. Claim your victory in the word of God.
Secondly, you can overcome unbelief by rejecting fear, which comes with the lies of the devil. The Bible says you should be careful for nothing but in prayer, and not in fear, let your request be made known unto God (Philippians 4:6). Satan’s lies come with fear and is accompanied by torment. When your mind is not at peace, it would be difficult to read, meditate and believe on God’s promises for your life.
Fear is the basis of unbelief. If you don’t deal with it, it will deal with you and it will make you to doubt and question the words of God. Fear will keep you from the promises of God. It was fear that made the 10 Spies among the Israelites to call themselves “grasshoppers” and they failed to enter into their Promised Land. Only Caleb and Joshua,who saw the victorious power of God through their eyes of faith made it. The others died in the wilderness as their journey of 40 days became 40 years.
Beloved, tell unbelief the words of the hymn writer: Unbelief begone, my Saviour is near!

“…He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.”
If you’ve ever watched a relay race, you’d understand how important the last lap of the race is: you’d notice the spacing of the different athletes on the running track. The team members take turns completing parts of a race: each runner finishing one leg passes to the next runner a stick-like object known as a “baton” while both are running in a marked exchange zone. For the last lap, the coach would place his fastest runner there to ensure the race is won and any lapse from the other runners is made up for.
We’re in the final lap before the Lord returns, and in these last days, there’s only one thing that matters: living a life of purpose and for His glory! We are the last generation and His fastest runners in the race of saving others. The question is, have you discovered this purpose for your life? Are you about His work? God wants you to do the work of salvation as quickly as possible, just like that last runner would for his team.
The purpose of the Father is the salvation of the whole world. That’s the reason He sent Jesus and your purpose in life is connected to this. No matter what you do in life, if you’re not reaching the lost and winning souls, you’re living an empty life. The Bible says God doesn’t want anyone to perish but that everyone come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). You bring Him glory in making this happen.
He seeks to beautify the lives of those around you and lead them into righteousness through you; that’s living a purposeful life. It doesn’t matter how fruitful or effective you might have been in other areas; you must seek to excel in soul winning, in taking the Gospel to the lost, hopeless, hurting and downtrodden, not just in your world, but also in the regions beyond.
A well-lived life, a successful life that pleases God, achieves those things God destined you to do. Therefore, bring Him glory by being effectual in leading men to righteousness.

Worship God Anywhere, Anytime. Today, everywhere you go, you carry God’s presence in you, and with you.
And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it (Revelation 21:22).
In the Old Testament, the Israelites worshiped God in a temple, but in the beautiful revelation of the New Jerusalem, the Apostle John gushes in admiration about how the city of God could exist without a temple. One would have expected to see a temple, just as it was in Old Testament days. But this New Jerusalem, however, doesn’t need a temple because the entire city is the dwelling place of Almighty God and the Lamb. That’s remarkable!
In other words, God’s presence is everywhere in that city; the whole thing has become His temple. That brings to mind what Jesus said as He engaged a woman in Sychar, a Samaritan village. The woman had said, “Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, and you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where one ought to worship” (John 4:20NKJV). But then, Jesus replied, “…the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him” (John 4:23). Why? It’s because in the spirit, they’d experience the presence of God anywhere, and everywhere.
Today, everywhere you go, you carry God’s presence in you, and with you. Now you can better understand the words of the Apostle Paul in Acts 17:28: “For in him we live, and move, and have our being….” We’re not apart or separate from Him. We don’t seek or look for Him; we’re in Him and with Him, and He’s in us, with us and about us! Wherever you are, wherever you go, you live and move in God our Father.
This same Apostle said in Romans 1:9, “For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers.” Can you see how Paul did it? He served God with his “spirit” in the Gospel of His Son. The word “serve” actually refers to “worship.” That’s why we can worship Him anywhere, and at any time.
This is different from the Old Testament where they had to go to the right place to offer the right sacrifice; if they didn’t go to the right place, it was not accepted. In fact, when they set up a new temple in Samaria, God was angry, because according to His instruction, the temple was only to be in Jerusalem. But in Christ Jesus, we worship God with our spirits. Hallelujah!
Even now, lift your hands in worship to the Lord and offer Him a sacrifice of sweet-smelling savour. From where you are, worship the Father from your spirit and according to His Word.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I worship and adore you today from my spirit. I adore you, everlasting King of glory, the only wise and true God, gracious and kind, holy and righteous, ever loving and forgiving. I love you Lord; and thank you for the blessing of the New Testament in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!

For any nation to experience peace in this turbulence time, the Church must engage in serious and fervent prayer to the God of all nations
PRAYER.
1. Father, thank you for the relative peace the nations of the world are enjoying in Jesus name. Amen.
2. Father, have mercy and forgive us all the sins of our nations in Jesus name . Amen.
3. Father, we pray for your peace to reign in all the nations of the world in Jesus name. Amen
4. Father, let all those who cause conflicts repent and seek for peace in Jesus name. Amen

Many of us associate Isaiah 7:14 with the Christmas story. Matthew even refers back to this verse as evidence of a prophecy fulfilled through the birth of Christ. We sing the name “Immanuel” in church. But what does that word really mean?
