Proverbs 3:27-28 NIV

[27] Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act.

[28] Do not say to your neighbor, “Come back tomorrow and I’ll give it to you”— when you already have it with you.

When you have the capacity to help those in need, don’t withhold it, never walk away from someone who deserves help, your hand is God’s hands for that person.

When you helps someone, you are moving them closer to witness Christ in you.

When you’re led by God to help this person, who knows if you’re the one that God will you use to answer the request the person has been praying to God for and that’s how the person might believe Christ through you.

You can make it a duty to help someone’s life, that way you show the light of Christ in you.

To be sensitive and discern to know who and who don’t deserve help is also important but when you are conscious in the word, you become spiritually sensitive.

If all you can offer is the word of encouragement to remind them that God is the only one who can truly sustain them, encourage them to trust in him.
