A strong neck is the back-bone for many physically intensive sports such as rugby, wrestling and back-liners in the NFL. For many poor sleeping positions and rigid sitting positions can lead to stiff and weak necks. Most people neglect neck strength, possessing a stronger neck has it’s benefits and will benefit your health in the long run.

In fact not much muscle surrounds the neck, that’s why it’s vital to maintain that small amount that acts as a conduit from the brain to the rest of the body. Building a strong neck will prevent further  damage and has been shown to reduce concussions according to Robert Cantu, MD is chief of Neurosurgery.
