Scouts is a great thing. I have been a scout since the age of fourteen and I love it. Apart from when politics in scouting overtakes the fun.

I am currently a scout leader and although I have only been doing it since October, I have since discovered that the values of district are imposed onto leaders to a point which they either have no freedom or have no life. Now I love scouting but when I start to feel like I’m not having fun anymore then there is clearly a problem.

The other leaders are also not very helpful due to the fact that they complain so much about stuff but that is because they take on too much.
