One of my favourite scriptures is Romans 1:17 “The good news shows how God makes people right with himself. God’s way of making people right begins and ends with faith. As the scriptures say, “The one who is right with God by faith will live forever.” ERV (Easy-to-Read Version)

This one verse says so much about what our faith in Christ is all about. Firstly, if we break it down, it begins by giving God the entire credit for our salvation, our journey with Him, and our faith. It is showing us that in no way, can we ever do anything to get right with God ourselves, but that HE makes us right with Himself. This is an important thing to meditate on daily.
