Delivered from the hand of the enemy

Deuteronomy 7:15 says:

“And the Lord will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.”

God is never the author of any type of evil, even sickness and disease. God desires to take these things from our midst. Can you imagine how much God loves you? Sometimes we who are His children fail to see God’s love around us. We think that because bad things happen that God has authored them, or that He has allowed them to happen. In this verse we see He is a faithful God. He is our God. He sent His only begotten Son to shed His blood for our sins. If He says He will put none of the evil diseases upon us…
