God loves to hear us pray

James 5:16 says: “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”

Here the Bible tells us that the prayer of a righteous man can change things. In a story related in the passage of scripture that follows this verse you can read about Elijah, who was a man of like passion such as you and I are. He was an ordinary man facing things in life – family issues, hardships, ups and downs, persecutions, lack, needs, fears, and shortcomings.
