God’s Grace

Memorise: And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you. 2 Corinthians 9:14

Besides mercy, God is unlimited in grace. Ephesians2:8 says:

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.

For anyone to be saved, two elements – grace and faith must be combined or else that effort of asking for forgiveness and mercy as a sinner will be fruitless. No matter how much faith a sinner has when he or she comes to God for salvation, if grace is not released on the part of God, there can be no forgiveness.
