Be Polite To Others
Let your speech at all times be gracious (pleasant and winsome), seasoned (as it were) with salt, (so that you may never be at a loss) to know how you ought to answer anyone (who puts a question to you) (Colossians 4:6 AMP)
For many in our country, acting in a polite and civil manner, after being exposed to protracted years of military rule is something to learn. Many are yet to learn the importance of the words “Please”, “Excuse me” and “Thank You” in their communication with others. They are of the erroneous belief that being polite is a sign of weakness in one’s character, but that’s not true. Rather, being polite is something that reveals the strength of character.
