Identity Theft.

Before the advent of the internet, identity theft was a rare occurrence.  Today this crime is rampant.  From a spiritual point of view, conversion brings a series of new transformations. When we are born again, we enjoy:

A new nature

A new future

A new identity

The world, the flesh, and the devil are none too pleased by this revolutionary development in your life. They want your old identity back and they are willing to steal what God has given you if you let them.

As Beth Moore said, “We also have an enemy who wants to return us to places God called us to leave. The enemy is after every bit of the ground, every bit of the spiritual progress you have ever made.”

If we conform to the pressure and forget where we came from, we will be victims, not victors as God intends.
