Born into a family of idol worshippers in July 1909 in pre-colonial Ondo, Rev Akindayomi sought the Lord early, and by 18years, he was baptized in the CMS church (The Anglican Church). Four years later, he joined the Cherubim and the Seraphim Church. Rev Akindayomi started hearing God’s voice in the C&S church but for some reasons, he ignored it and got busy with his business ventures which became unproductive after much effort.
