The reason you are born again is not so that you will have an easy way to heaven but to fulfil a purpose. You need to be the light and make an impact for the kingdom. When you live this way, it will heal you of selfishness. That is what Jesus came to teach: the Son came not for Himself but to lay down His life for His sheep. No man has greater love than this. Jesus came to set the example for us to live by.
