2-Timothy_2-1-1: Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus

TEXT:Romans 8: 28-39.

INTRODUCTION:

A spiritual rebirth takes place at redemption and then one is said to be born again. This means we now have a new life in Christ. (i.e. a divine nature). This automatically gives us some basic right as children of God.

1.Right to divine health and healing. 3 Jn 2; Isa 53: 4-5. This refers not only to physical health alone but also mental, spiritual, emotional and financial.

2.Right to dominion. Col 2: 15; Gen 1: 26-27. The dominion lost by man as a result of sin was restored at redemption. Lk 10: 18-19.

3.Right to holiness. Obadiah 1: 17; Matt 5: 48; 1 Pet 1: 15-16; Rom 6: 14; Heb 12: 14;
