KEEP YOUR HEART

Psalms_26-2: Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.

TEXT: Proverbs 4: 23.

INTRODUCTION:The heart is the most sensitive part of the human body. Therefore, there is a need to keep watch over our heart.

WHY SHOULD WE KEEP OUR HEART?

(a)It is the centre of life. Every activity of a man has its root in the heart. Prov 4: 23; Prov 27: 19. Hardly is anything a man wants to do that will not first be determined in his heart. Dan 1: 8.

(b)Determines character. The way a man behaves is conditioned by the state of his heart. You are a product of your thought. Num 13: 31; Prov 23: 7.
