SPIRITUAL FAMINE

Isaiah_44-3: For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring

TEXT: 1 Samuel 28: 3-7

INTRODUCTION:

There are three major types of famine – economic famine; spiritual famine; a combination of both. A victim of economic famine usually lacks food and drink or other means of physical survival. But one suffering from spiritual famine may not be easily identified until he or she takes a wrong step and ends up at a wrong destination.

SIGNS OF SPIRITUAL FAMINE

– The Word meant for your spiritual sustenance becomes very scarce. You could hear God’s voice before but He no longer speaks to you today. Amos 8: 11

– You cannot access divine direction

– Your soul is starved while your spirit man becomes lean.
