Work And Effect Of Righteousness.

“And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.”Isaiah 32:17

When you finally come to terms with your righteousness in Christ, which is not by your works but simply by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, you will enter into an arena of peace you have never enjoyed.

Notice the text for today tells us something very powerful. The work of righteousness – that is, what righteousness delivers to you is PEACE, SHALOM – nothing broken, nothing missing in your life. The effect it produces is quietness and assurance. You must understand that peace, quietness and assurance are not really absence of challenges.
